That seems a little naive as you only have to read this board to know that almost everyone attempts to find all the different endings to each game. I don't think anybody plays a game just once then walks away ignoring the other possible endings - at least not with games as good and entertaining as those you guys produce.
I understood what you were trying to do and agree the basic idea is a good one. Nevertheless I saved the game several times and in some places I tried every different option from the same saved game but each led me to the same page with no change in the score or path. That's why I say it's not clear to the normal player if he's picked the "correct" choice for the path he's attempting to follow.
Presumably the change of path is more gradual than the change in points - add to this the number of "click to continue" pages where the player is stuck in a predetermined course and I feel you may have introduced a level of difficulty you didn't intend, because by the time the game tells the player that he's strayed off the path he's trying to play, it could be too late to get back onto it again.
I maybe wrong but I also wonder if there are not some contradictions in that certain actions which would seem to be the logical choice for the path I'm attempting to follow result in a loss of points, yet I still need a certain number of points to progress.
The only way I got the different endings was that I found by accident that when I decided to look at the possible next pages, opening the page in my browser let me jump into the middle of a game with the score I'd saved from close to the end of a previous one - for example, I needed a score of 40 to continue but this time I was starting with a score of 59. I believe this allowed me to alter the path without my score falling below the cut-off level to progress.
To add to the confusion I seemed to be on the aggressive path almost throughout the first time I played the game to a "good" end, but as I remember it the closing sequence suggested I try to play more aggressively for a different ending...
Don't get me wrong - it's still a very good game - I'm just disappointed that it seems virtually impossible to reach the different endings without some kind of cheating. It's fully appreciated that if you don't try new stuff we'll all start saying we're bored because the games are all the same, etc. You must feel like you can't win at times - but I hope you don't stop trying.
