There is a possible Adrift bug in the last step of the Actress path as mentioned by jereneyg.
This is the last step in her path for now and does not affect the other content. Once more people have played the content I will collect the bugs and push out a fix for this and what else pops up.

Got Zoe to give me quest, went to studios, saw event (bitch) and done. No envelope left in inventory

my guess, old saves don't work. jerenevg should try to start a new game, see if he still has that bug.

As far as I can see there is nothing in the code for that event that could be affected by anything done in a save.

I have noticed that some events won't always trigger when there is only 1 check like in this case the envelope.
I tested his save and got the same error. When adding another check to the event it triggered without problem.

Seems to be an adrift problem as it does not make any logic sense.
A new game might solve it but then again it might not.

If in doubt wait for patch. That event is not going anywhere

Finished. Saw no problem really. Almost missed that i was at the end, cause it doesn't always say "you reached the current end of this path". But did "check display" and it said it.

There will be more money stuff in the next release as you do earn a bit much right now and nothing to spend it on. This was planned but yeah plans changed a bit.

Great to see an update! I have a question though

So i loaded my save from version 0.40. In the task list I got "Collect the camera once it arrives". But the thing is, i already have a pro camera in my inventory. It really confuses me. Mayb its a bug

with this and the previous bug, i think that 0.55 is not compatible with older saves. I recommend starting a new game.

So I have been beaten by hobo, asked Celeste about it and now i can't go to the alley as it says " You don't dare to walk out into the alley before you have worked on your combat skills".
I tried to figure out what to do but I failed.

To progress other stories I need to have access to this place so help would be appreciated

give your L:number for Setz just in case

but my guess is

you need a scene with Frey thanking you i. The scene also needs some Angela and Daisy progress, specifically you must have helped Frey with problems those 2 cause in the restaurant and you must have encountered Morgan at least a few times.

Then with Angela you need to progress a bit (at least 2 more events to find, don't know exact numbers) and i know it works I placed those traps after the hobo too, but i was already on the Angela path

I take it that you have progressed with Gem even as it mentions that you need to collect the cemera.
That is a visual bug for some older saves. I will patch it in the next release but should not affect gameplay. Ignore it for now.

You should be able to progress if you focus hard on Angela, Daisy, Lara and Frey paths. According to your number you should have the following options.
Your first step should be asking Lara about her name and then working on the paths above with a focus on getting progress with Frey.

I will look into changing this a bit as the order can be pretty annyoing as it is in this case.

Added Beta 0.55b to the front page.

The fixes talked about so far and a change to the Babe path.
The door block was cute but a pain in the ass if you do things in a certain order.
Changed order and alley access.
