Just working at night and moseying around the hotel otherwise but not much going on

I've set the traps, bought the toolbox, left it in my room so I don't carry it around.
Trying to "fix the holes" gives me a message that I can't just fill the holes...not sure if I missed a message somewhere about that.

The error message does confuse me a bit. Since you have bought the toolbox and placed it in your room that message should not show up.
I might be missing something in adrift. When you say you left the toolbox in your room. What command did you use for that?
I have implemented it with "place toolbox" or variations of that.

I will fix the spelling mistakes.

I have just managed to get the scene where Morgan calls for help and you need to fetch Frey from Room 112. I had to restore one of the saves and replay quite a few scenes to get to that spot. But;

When I went into the Restaurant at 24:00 nothing happened so I left and went south back to the Lobby and then returned and still nothing. So I left back south to the Lobby again and walked to club, then back to the hotel and walked back into the restaurant and it triggered the Morgan frey help scene

Still that is the final scene I have encountered happened on day 48, now on day 73 and not had anymore scenes with Frey, Morgan, Gem, Celeste, Taylor, Zoe, Angela or Lara. Already got to the end of Daisy's current path.

Can't say why the event didn't trigger.

The next step does require you to make some progress on Frey so let me go through the possible things.
Frey shows up a couple of times as you surf porn on your computer.
Since you got the striptease by asking her about porn you should get other events in the same way.
So if you have surfed enough porn to see more then one picture of young Frey you can ask about porn with her.

Well, I thought I was done with the game until I started reading through the thread here. I have no idea who Morgan is and I've not heard anything about rats. I've spent several full days doing nothing but wandering through the hotel (and visiting the club) trying to find new events with no luck so I can only assume I need to ask someone about something. Once you get to around 10 times cooking you should get an event in the reception.

She moves closer to you.
"Yeah. I also did some movies to earn rent. It was fun while it lasted."
Thinks a bit and whispers into your ear.
"Hope you enjoyed it. I did. That is what porn is for. Thanks for reminding me."

This is all I keep getting off her.

General note regarding Adrift:
If you go to a room and wait one or more hours to check if something happens it won't. You have to enter the room at that time and not wait around in the room. That is how Adrift works sadly.

You can actually trigger the events by looking at the room (just type 'look at room', 'look', or even just 'l').

Also, there are several events I've noticed where you are told a delivery would arrive on the following day (for example, the coffee machine). On every one of those I have been able to go pick up the item being delivered immediately.

So it is 14:00 I have walked in and out of the Rec Area, Frey and Taylor are there and no scene is being triggered. Do I need to initiate the scene with workout command? if so it's not happening. Just keep getting the Mr.Universe comment.

You are right about the look command. Not sure but during my tests I have had problems with look not triggering events that trigger on entering a location. Not sure why. Still learning adrift.
Mentioned the above for players that might try going to a location and wait an hour...then wait another hour...and nothing happens. Since they have to look or enter to trigger the event.

The delivery events are a bit tricky. Most are set to arrive after a certain time and if the event can be done early in the morning it will show up the same day. No harm done.

If you have asked Frey about porn and she answered as you mention it should trigger an event at 14 in Rec Area, No other input needed.
We might again be at point where a save check might be needed. If you can please look at the PM I sent.

I just quickly removed adrift5 and re-installed it (I did have up to date version, was just checking to see if there was an issue with adrift) and now the

Frey and Taylor scene at 14:00 at the Rec area worked as it should and then waited 2 turns and also got the scene with Celeste and Rain in the lobby at 16:00

So things seem to be going smoothly now.

I am more used to using the usual adrift commands - put x on y

I did: put toolbox on desk
Using yours I then got the notice so I can move forward, this is the only thing I hated about Adrift is Guess the Verb
