You have indeed found all the stuff.

There might be a final event with Scruffy if you have decoded the tome and asked him about it. It will say that you have hit the end of the current content. Can't see from the number of you have hit that.

There is a little problem here. I have the same L number as enlightend. And I had asked Scruffy about the tome. But I used 2 versions of the game. I start my save with the 40.a asked scruffy about the tome with the 40.a, and I change to 40.b after. When I started use the 40.b one of the first event I had was to ask Scruffy about the tome (which I already did), and when I asked him again he answer me that I already talked with scruffy about the tome.
well maybe it's bad idea to start using the 40.b after asking scruffy about the tome
so. I have the L number final, I had ask scruffy about the tome, but I not had an event about the end of content of this version.

The event that tells you to ask Scruffy about the tome is just for info and does nothing. So it won't harm anything.
The final event should happen at 22 in the evening in the basement hallway.

I asked before if I have to talk to somebody.

I get the message from Taylor that I can help with special guest or like something at dinner time and then nothing (40a).

Is this broken when you use a save or have I talk to somebody or her with a special word?

Ok I have found out I have to talk to her. Is it possible that you can this more clear so you see more the different between talking events and room events?

When she askes you to help with client that opens up the "work" command in the evening. Just like you would during the day.
I have added a more specific hint to her request to make it more clear what you have to do in the next release.

Ok means that I have to "work" to trigger a event. Or have I talked to somebody like Taylor with a special word. It is for me not so clear.

While people play and give feedback on B0.40b, I wanted to add my regular future plans update.

I am going through feedback and adding a bunch of stuff. Have added a bunch of flavor conversations and more will be added over time.

The next major release (aiming at end of March or when it is done ) is going to be slightly different. So far each release has contained a complete story path and focused mainly on that character with support from the others where needed.
This might change for the next release as things become more connected. I will add a lot of new content but it will be spread out over all the girls and I might not be able to connect it up to a point where a single girl is "complete". Then again I might find enough time to complete two or more. So who knows. Surprises all around.

Learning from my mistake in this month I won't set a completion goal, but it will be at least 50% since I might already be close to that behind the scenes

Keep playing and I will keep coding.

I got a question regarding your plans of having a trilogy and carrying over game choices. How would you do that?

Consider this, there are currently 2 (and i call them major, cause they are life changing) choices in-game. Considering that already. The 2nd game so far has 4 different starts. if a new choice would be added that would turn into 8 ,another choice 16, 5th choice 32 and this is assuming that there are 2 choices each time. This all can result in you having to develop quite a number of different starts for your 2nd game already, before even working on that particular story yourself And not talking about your 3th game then.

First off the pratical plan is to have 1 number that you have to save when you reach the end of game 1 and then enter when starting game 2. So it will ask you to enter the number and the world is set up for you. Think old school saves from consol games.

There will be at least 10 choices in this game. So lets say 20 different factors going into game 2.
Each factor will change something but not all of them will cross link. So your choice from girl 1 and girl 2 might not have any connection in the world.
In practice this will end up with at a minimum 10 things that have two different states in the new game.
It will be more then that but not exponential as you suggest.

Not to downplay my own game, but it will not be life changing changes. Fun, flavor, lore, background stuff. That will make a lot more sense once info about game 2 starts to leak.

i don't think your maths is correct. With 10 choices in-game and with different answers on each of them that 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 = 1024 different outcomes

and regarding life-changing

Gem being a model or a actress is life-changing, Morgan focussing more on beging a dominatrix instead of a cook, means the hotel needs a new cook

In pure math terms you are correct. There are 1024 different world states.
But I only have to implement 20 different changes to match that number.
As in every choice in game 1 only needs 2 effects in game 2.

If every choice in game 1 affected every other choice then yes it would be monstrous as I would need 1024 changes. That is not the case.

Regarding the size of the changes. Now we are going into spoiler areas. The brave beware and see spoiler below.

Your idea about changes for the characters being life changing is correct.
Your idea that it might be important for the setting of game 2 migth not be.
