This happens when you don't have enough money to buy the computer or laptop

you should add an answer "you don't have enough monney, you need xxx$".
The game or let you buy the laptop/computer if you have the money, or doesn't know the laptop/computer.

Steps explained below:

Before being able to ask for the computer you need to be far enough with sharing pictures of the boss and the waitress.
There is something wrong with error messages from Scruffy when you ask to buy the computer before he is ready to sell it. That I need to fix.
I will add a step that clearly explains that he wants pictures of the waitress.
So if you are stuck please try to "share pictures" when in the same room as him.

I'll have to disagree with you

On one game I did, I had share the pictures. But I had not enough money to buy it. When I ask Scruffy the game told me he doesn't know laptop/computer.
for the next 4-5 days I did :
- make breakfast
- eat breakfast
- work
- eat lunch
- make dinner
- eat dinner
- sleep

in order to win money I did nothing more than that those 4-5 day. My money was enough after few day like this. I buy laptop/computer (not remember which one) and it work, I buy it.

So there is probably a lack of information if you not share the picture if you say so. But there is also one if you not have enough money.

Both cases should have different error messages and thet don't seem to work in all cases.
I will try to find the errors and fix them.
The steps I wrote was specificly meant for the two gamers above that are stuck because of not sharing pictures.

You need some more steps with Daisy it seems. You should have an event in the reception during the late evening that should lead to that.
A couple more steps for her before you can continue with Lara.

Also, I had the last upgrade of my room by Scruffy, but I can't see anything changed, what is it ?

Can I export my saves when there will be a newer version, or do I have to play from the beginning ?

As a side note, I thiink that after you have translated all the tome, you should be able to see what you translated by "read tome".

You have come to end indeed.
The last room upgrade is not implemented, only the intro for it. Teaser.
You should be able to continue from your current save. I will note in the patchnotes if something might break and if it is important.
Good point about the tome. Will look into that.

I got to the last bit of the tome and it just sort of ended, but I thought that was the way it was for now.

It does end there at the moment after you have read all the chapters of the tome and maybe translated the note.
The note you can read at any time but I will add an option to read the tome again to get a recap of the chapters for reference.

That specific event is not yet visible to the player as it unfolds later in Zoe's path. If you add your L:number to your post I can give hints if you need it.

You are almost done. Only a couple of steps left for the singer.

During the last photoshoot Lara mentions that you should come to her room at around 14 o'clock. The rest should follow from that.
As far as I can tell you are done with the other paths for now.
