Developer update - crash edition

I had a hard drive failure earlier today and am writing this from my ipad. Since it will take some days before I get a new drive delivered and everything installed again, I wanted to take this time to write a status update (as I won't be able to add anything of value this side of the weekend anyway).

Current completed content for Beta 0.50 since last release:
1 path story complete (Might still add conversations and outfits).
17 New Events.
- Including 1 new multi-event task.
More work opportunities.
First story choices for next game saved.
Added some task reminders to room descriptions.
Added some starter hints to character descriptions.
Added player name input. Players starting from a save can use "set player name" to change from the default.
Added work titles. Players starting from a save will not see a change until the next promotion.

The next release does look to be somewhat more spread out over different paths. So more overall story progression and every girl gets a handful of events. Less events added this time but added more systems that will be lovely over time.

So just downloaded and my virus scanner reckons the .exe contains a trojan TR/dropper.MSIL.Gen2

Anyone else? Don't really fancy opening it to be honest.

The adrift part of the exe has changed the way it packages files and this shows up as a virus in 4 out of 50 scanners.
It is listed as a generic virus flag and has no bad effect at all.

Great feedback. Lovely.
First of thank you for the interest and time spent.

Let me go through your points below.

You are the end of the tome line as it stands right now. More to come.
Regarding pictures. I am aware that some stand out and I am still looking for replacement of the lower resolution ones.
I am adding more outfits over time. So that you won't get the face closeup unless in conversation. This is very much work in progress.
I have some plans to up the perviness over time. To mirror the confidence of our hero. But I do agree there are some spots where it would make sense already.
I might look into a quest/task list. But right now I am working on other repeatable hints to guide the player towards current goals. Example the bouncers will talk about Lara not performing because the equipment is broken.
I have looked at "talk to xxx". It might be something I add later, but as it stands I have focused on 1 type of conversations to make it easier for the player to know what to do and save me a large amount of additional writing. Not saying I won't do it. But it is not priority right now.
Revisiting pictures might be a future feature. No spoilers.
Regarding immersion about room access. You are right and I might add different solutions for this. But again same priority as more outfits and such. Bonus stuff.
I will add clearer hints for buying the computer.

Have bedroom and computer updgrades and gem path comlete. When i read tome it says you need to be in room to do so but when i go to room it says i have nothing to read. Finaaly managed to read tome but nothing happened

First off you L: number seems to be somewhat short. Are you sure you are running the newest version Beta 0.26.
It should start out as 11 digits and grow from there in the newest versions.
That could also explain why you are having trouble finding stuff to do.

Let me know if that is not the case.
