Oh that's a point.

I could not get it to open in IE which turned out to be my settings - so I tried it out first in Firefox, where I am sure I did see a line of Initials and scores below the images.
Like E:0 F:0
But I don't see them now I have been playing it in IE ?????????


By the way I usually play these sort of games in Firefox because with multi choices you can usually open them one by one in a 'New Tab' and see what happens. You have done something to stop that - you trickster you.

Make sure you can save and reload a game in IE to make sure the security settings are working. Often with some security settings in IE there will be a security notification that pops up twice when you start the game. Once for the initial start window, and once on the main menu. You need to choose "Allow blocked content" for the game to work properly. To know it is working, you should see a notice at the bottom "You've earned XX out of YY Achievements." This repeats any time you open the game. If you don't see the Achievements message, the game is not working. On hard mode, only the Quck Save, Main Menu, and Quick Restore links should be visible.

Firefox generally works fine "out of the box." IE and Chrome both need a little tweaking for the direct writing of cookies that are used for storing variables and save-games.

Also, in Hard mode, the relationship scores are hidden. In Medium mode, only the overall score is shown. The number is meaningless, but the score going up is generally a good thing, and going down is generally a bad thing. Easy mode shows the individual relationship values for each girl in the game. E for Emily and F for Faith in the Demo.

I don't actually play that many of these games. I play most of the LOP stuff, occasionally Date Ariane when I see a major update or the occasional game here, so maybe a game or two a month. That being said, I spend more time than I'd like to admit watching videos on YouTube. Also, the vanishing cache problem often seems to occur when I spend a lot of time in Daz Studio. Anyway, whatever is causing it, it is probably specific to my browser/system, so I'm sorry I trouble you with it.

I tried to get the office scene maxed last night - to no avail.

I can get 'endings' 1,2 & 4 - but no idea what 3 is.

Achievements I can only get 1 ( the boobs perv ) and 3 (the upskirt) - again what no. 2 is I have no idea.
I gave up and went back to the bar, and I think I understand how to get both girls on the same seat, but still no proper threesome.

God it's frustrating .................... but so much fun. :roi:

Yes - I had the missing one before onFirefox I think

I still cannot find office achievement 2 - I have 'mastery' 1 of 2
Tried to see what's different on all of them - easy. medium and hard - but it is a pretty short scenario anyway, with quite a lot of one option clicks, so I must be being stupid somewhere.

You need the ending with 0 points. As soon as you enter the office, click on your desk, not the paper on the floor and not one of the conversation options. When Emily starts her end of day filing, do not look at her shapely rear but instead leave immediately. Congratulations, you've now made it through the scene without scoring a single point.

Thanks Comis - for some reason I played it in FF yesterday and I had that ending on that platform.
I also found the no:2 achievement I was missing which had to do with her rack and surviving. :roi:

The bar scene has also seen some success - I am up to 7/10 there and got the 'accomodating' rewards.

Bar scene achievements are bugged. You can earn them, but the reporting won't acknowledge it. See http://the-new-lagoon.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2920&start=300#p76421.
If we can get mouse/touch input hybrid pages going so that iPad/Android/Windows tablet users can play properly, I'll update the demo and fix the Achievements.

Playtesters...I know most of you are "on break" waiting for the next scene to finish and be released, but I'd like your opinions. I'm going to post a status update in the next day or two and want to include teaser images for future updates. I'd appreciate it, if you have a chance, to let me know either via PM or the tester forum the web pages that contain some of your favorite non-public images that you think would be fun to share with the community. That's anything from the Strip Club and Diner for day 1, and of course anything from day 2.

I'll take the list of suggestions and as long as they aren't too "spoiler-ish" start including them in my update posts.

Thanks for all your input, hard work, and patience!

I'm also rearranging my road-map a little. Once I finish the bar side branches for day two I'll build out the one scene from Act 1 in day three. After that I'll loop back around and do the Strip club side of Day 2 and the resultant scenes. This is possible because the final scene in Act 1 only has a few branches, and the impact of the strip club side to the scene is relatively small and easy to account for and adjust. The result of this is that it will give the playtesters a chance to experience the full Act 1 sooner, at least for the Day 1 Bar -> Day 2 Bar paths, and provide feedback and input to the experience.
Also, it was originally planned that I would have five groups of play-testers on-boarding. I scaled that back to 4 groups of 5 due to interest levels; however, recently the wait list has grown to a length of five, so I've decided to re-instate the original schedule of 5 rounds of playtesting. So good news to everyone that is on the wait-list as of this posting, you are all now in Group 5. Once I nail down the new road map, I'll list the on-boarding schedule at the bottom of this post, As a result, Group 4 will probably on-board a little earlier as well. There will not be a 6th group. The purpose of the number of playtesters and staggered groups is to counteract burnout from the early playtesters and bring fresh eyes in for new looks at the earlier scenes. It is a balance because more playtesters add complexity and overhead as well, so each group brings diminishing returns. Because of those diminishing returns, I set the limit to 25 total playtesters from 5 groups. To be honest though, I'm humbled and amazed to have 25 people actually interested in the game, let alone interested enough to help playtest. That's not even accounting for the 1030 downloads that the rough demo has seen. Amazing. Simply amazing. Thank you all!

Pruning...always pruning, or at the least, relocating. :) If I did everything I wanted, I'd never finish!

Since the game is designed from the ground up to be expandable, A lot of ideas get sent to "expansions packs" for incorporation based on demand once the base game is done. When I prune branches, I console myself by moving them to a possible expansion pack. (i.e. more romanceable characters, Major branches at new locations, Alternate view points {Play from Emily's perspective for example}, etc...)
