Firefox 30.0, Win 7 Pro SP 1. Absolutely no problems. You guys do realize that on the scene where the girl leaves to go clean up, you have to click on the guy and drag him up, right? I only realized that myself once the debugging was turned on.

Question though, what is the score for at the end? Acheivements? Unlocking bonus stuff? Or just bragging rights?

Edit:

Sorry, forgot I switched to an IE addon in my firefox to get it to work.

SNAP! That's my environment and my Ff problem -- see above viewtopic.php?p=75599#p75599

Chromium works though except I don't see any coloured circles on the bikini strings and can't locate them blind so I have to use tab

Okay, here's your chance to be a hero.
What IE addon did you switch to in firefox to get it to work?
How do you turn on debugging?

Hi greebo, sorry forgot to mention that I turned the debug circles off. Where you able to push the man upwards to progress after the disc game?

I first got stuck with Lucy alone in the house, your cheat with the tab key sorted that for me and I had no trouble finding the hot spot after that.
On the beach with Hanna I found the hot spot fairly soon but I too am having trouble with the bikini strings and the tab key doesn't rescue me here.
I really, really want to progress and see more of these three ( hoping that Amy won't miss all the fun ) Do think that Lucy is more of a Hannah and Hanna more of a Lucy.

Thanks for you comments, I'm glad you like the storyline. Tell me did you touch/click the mouse on the book shelf? When you do this sparks should appear and if you wait long enough the scene should progress.

Can I ask what setup you have? People using ubuntu seem to be having problems.

Regarding the score, at present I am only offering a bonus image at the end, if you get an A you get the best image and it goes downwards from there. I think I would like to devlop it into a way to unlock whole different end-scenarios. Ultimately it is about giving the game longevity by encouraging players to keep playing. I may also do a leaderboard, we'll see.

Also, there are some hints in the text below the game regarding game play, but I think it is clear I need some hint mechanism so I will work on this,

Played it in firefox and chrome both under windows. I wasn't able to successfully do any of the click and drag events.

As for score, leaderboard sounds like a perfectly fine use. Using it to unlock content is a little trickier. You mentioned that you wanted a game playable on both PC and tablet. Controlling operations on those platforms are so different in feel that you will have a very difficult time making interactions that are somewhat challenging on both platforms. Most likely it will become challenging on one platform and either overly simple on the other or completely impossible (the heart thing comes to mind as that would be 1000x easier on a tablet). Just trying to warn you ahead of time (failing to set a high score is acceptable to a player... being barred from certain content because of the controls, not so much).

I think I have solved the bikini string issue, it should now work on firefox.

I am working on the stuck green disc issue.

Update: disc error sorted.

The bikini string issue remains a problem. I could not get the bikini string to work in Firefox, and it took me five tries in Google Chrome to get it to work, even knowing where the start and stop places are.

After repeated failed attempts on the 'click on the guy and drag to the right' scene, I gave up and hit the Tab key. Oddly enough, this time the tab key worked.

Possibly hotspots size on an individual's monitor is related to that person's screen resolution. When I was messing around with trying to make a web based game I noticed that problem when I tried the game on a different computer.

I STRONGLY suggest you change the 'click and drag' game mechanic to a simple 'click and hold' hotspot.

Another possibility is to change the mouse cursor shape when it is within the hotspot(s), to help people find them.

So maybe from an arrow (when not within a hot spot), to a closed hand (to indicate you should grab something when within the first hot shot) to an open hand (to indicate you should release something when within second hot spot)

Yeah, some kind of actual visual feedback on those mechanics would be a big improvement.

Apologies, that was my bad (I forgot to comment out a section of code that I am developing for a hint system - this can happen when you do things last thing at night). This is now fixed.

If the game freezes at all, it would be useful of people could see if there are any javascript errors in the console.
