I started off trying to help the great folks at "Venus Rising". Which is an online game in development. with an adult theme. In their boards people talked about flash games, so I started to look at few of them. Over time I've ran across some amazing game, and amazing sites that not only host, and develop them.
One game that a person their said was the best, "Getting to know Christine". I tried to play it, could never finish it. I found a few of the guides, but I felt I was missing somethings. So I've bounced from "Playforce One", and enjoy their great in house games. Recently signed up to help the good people at "pusooy.net", since i've enjoyed their work as well. Of course I've enjoyed the games made in house here as well.
I've never found guides easy to use. They are laid out in a very technical and logical manner, but it interrupts the flow of the game. So I decided to see it I could make one better. So I got a hold of the first Keeley game, and followed a guide, and it worked. I saw the "Jessica" character, so I thought why not give that game a try. It was complicated seeming at first, even with guides I felt there was more to the game.
So I download a copy of it. And literally tore into it. I found it to be a very more complicated game that thought. The people who wrote the guide, missed a key concept. Which was to follow the flow of the game. Then find the changes, and why, and see where they go. In the end, I had found quite an interesting, and well thought out game. Yet no one on the places I normally went too, even AIF had skipped it over.
So I dove in and made my own guide. Based on the concept of creating a theme for each adventure, and flowing the story arcs so the game and the guide flowed together. No one else has seemed to do it, so I decided I guess I'd better. So going back to the roots of my addiction, I decided to start with the Keeley Verse. Since Christine introduced me to mature gaming, I figured it;s the best place to start.
The Keeley Verse consists of games I am sure you all know. So far in the works I have guides for Keeley, Jessica and Christine. Since Keisha appeared in both Keeley's and Jessica's game, I was going to do Daydreaming with Keeley. Then move onto Living with Keeley. Then from there which guides to do next. Then move onto other Universes.
The reason I am doing this, is I've seen how much work has really gone into the games I've seen so far. So it seems a shame it's largely unshared, and sharing if information is what that internet is supposed to be about. My goal is to help perhaps raise the profile of these games, and their creators. Get the games fully played and hopefully in some one get the game creator paid a little. I know documentation is a bitch, but I'm just the attention to detail bastard to hope do it. My past expertise was going into live transaction systems, and not knowing them, but figuring them out, and then documenting them. So I need help and more medication.
Good gaming to you all!
