Everything i don't understand, i delete. It could be contagious.

The mentioned code was a shell script to add audio support for firefox on linux to the game 'meeting keeley'. Yeah, i know, linux isn't relevant... and weird anyway. I get it now help is unwanted.

I'm a Tor user which is probably the main problem here as it's also used by spammers. At least state in your forum policy or FAQ that you don't want Tor users or ban registering from these addresses altogether.

And now i'm definitely out of here.

Another post that has nothing to do with the section (introductions). This is lack of respect for the lagoon and its users ...

He would appear to have had a good reason, shark, if what Squeeky PMed me is anything to go by -- a TOR connection seems to be treated as non kosher, and he seemed legitimate before he was banned.

I kinda thought the same thing. (Had to wiki TOR though, never heard of it. Sounds cool!) From what I understood, I thought he (2nd post) was offering "sound" advice for FireFox users.

I did think Ygg suffers from my affliction, isn't nearly as clever as they (I) think they(I) are.

Let this be the last that needs to be said on this:
Fact - If Shark had automatic subscriptions to "blacklists" then 'the ash Ygg...', his renewed non de plume 'BanForTheFunOfIt' and then 'TheWeird' would almost certainly never have been able to register in the first place irrespective if they are legitimately of the TOR project. As 'TheWeird' said: "Everything i don't understand, i delete. It could be contagious." Well, we don't impulsively go that far, a little thought is given first.

EDIT: I have just found information that TOR members may appear on such registers but under our current practice we cannot detect that. With respect to "the ash Ygg..." I shall take to Shark and our team.

Maybe I'm too strict for the lagoon protection, but for me, a guy who uses an anonymous IP and an anonymous email makes me suspicious...

Shark, that is your right, and we all respect it!

It would make me nervous too, my response above wasn't to criticize nor defend - merely to offer an opinion of how I interpreted what I saw in his (Ygg's) 2 posts.

I find this particularly interesting since I have been contemplating using Tor myself, because of the overbearing attitude of the ill informed English judiciary on torrent tracking assistance sites like The Pirate Bay.

A judgment last year placed a legal requirement on our six main ISPs requiring them to deny users access to TPB, and whereas the initial response was to blacklist the main site but no more, a move seems to be afoot, led by Murdoch's media empire, to be more proactive at blacklisting, never mind the many legitimate torrents that are pointed to.

If vested interest and government led interference escalates, I for one am definitely going to be seeking anonymising techniques.

Congratulations Gato & (Reader, insert your name here);
My NSA has added you to their dangerous persons list. Your phone and internet services will be scrutinized. All questionable contact will be provided to your government.
I too might like a method that keeps people/governments out of my business. I didn't give 20 years of service, in part protecting others rights, to give ANY government permission to, without due process, violate them!

hi,

I'm a 30 year-old french who loves 3d and creative people and this board seems full of them, so here I am.

I don't have any artistic skills or can do programming, so in advance I'm sorry I won't be able to help you in any way but will support your work.

welcome new members.
@chaos777,
Even though you have no art talent or programming skill, you can still contribute by making comments on the games here. Compliments and constructive criticism are appreciated.
