then "give beer to wally"

worked perfectly,no problem

On the aif yahoo group that I'm on, I've recieved complaints about playing the game on alt-IF engines like gargoyle and splatterlight. I havn't tested Another Friday Party on those before, so if you're using those, I think there will be problems :S

Stick with ADRIFT runner I say.

canteen is a red herring, don't go after that. You want a cold beer from the fridge is all you need.

But now, it says that i have to find a drink for me to start the game ! There is no more bber in the fridge... and the only thing i know is that denise have a mix in her canteen... But where and how to have it ?

I had the same problem with giving the beer to wally. Finally I combined the two commands into a single command and it worked. But I couldn't "ask Wally about cards" then later "give beer to Wally". He always was not interested even when I typed the commands one right after the other. It seems to be a bug that I had to make 2 separate commands a single command to make it work.

Well, some people use alternative AIF engines. I haven't tested AFP on those engines, (ie Gargoyle). All I can say is this:

-make sure you have the beer
-make sure you've asked Denise about cards or drinking games
-make sure you've eaten

If you've checked all those problems, let me know what you've been doing in the game and maybe I can help you

I was having the same problem while using ADRIFT. To get past it i had to type "give beer" then it asked "to whom" and i just typed "wally" and blam it finally worked. hope this helps you

thk - I'm using Adrift 3.9 and I had done all of those things. It just wouldn't let me give the beer to Wally after asking him about the cards. I tried leaving and reentering the room with no success too. Finally I put the 2 commands into a single command and it worked.
Now I'm having trouble using the hook to get the 4th pair of panties. It keeps asking me which ones (of the 3 I already have)without giving the 4th pair as an option. I've tried describing which ones I really want numerous ways with no luck.

Go north and drop all the panties (you can pick em back up later). then go back south and try again. (the other panties wont interfere that way)

That's really wierd! I've ran all sorts of checks and "ask wally about cards" then "give beer to wally" works. Is this maybe why 3.9 isn't used that much anymore? Anyway, for your other problem, you don't need to drop all the panties. Standing outside Cody's door, (assuming you've peeped on them) you can bend the coathanger then use it to get the fourth panties that are underneath the door when you're standing in hallway entrance. They're not necessary to complete the game though, but you can definitly get the daydream scene with Tara once you've taken them.

EDIT: Once again, it's important that you've 'eaten pizza' and must be holding 'the cold beer'

thk - I played thru again from the start. Once again I ate pizza and had the beer but could not give the beer to Wally after asking him about the cards. I used bolloto's suggestion of typing just "give beer" and it worked. I also still had to drop the 3 panties in another room before using the hook to get the 4th pair. I have picked up everything, watched Wally and Denise do everything twice, got the 4 panties, played with Chante, and masurbated using each pair of panties and without them - but I still have not seen the daydream scene with Tara. Did I need to do something when I visited Tara and Chad playing their game? Any hint on what I'm leaving out? Also, is there any use for the dart, dildo, or towel in the game? I have'nt used them on either playthrough. I thought the dildo would be used on Chante but I couldn't find any way to use it. Also does Dennis or either of the girls upstairs ever open their locked doors?
