You don´t need to go to the front. She said you can do whatever you want with Chrissy... try it...

What should happen is that you wait several turns, then Chrissy volunteers, then Miss Joliffe asks if you want to volunteer, ie. Chrissy should already be in front of the class before you get an opportunity to volunteer. If that's not happening, then it is indeed a bug and you should alert the author to it.

If you volunteer TOO EARLY, before Chrissy has a chance to appear, it breaks the sequence. No Chrissy, but teacher expects you to do something with Chrissy
I guess the only way out of this is undo until the start of lesson. Then wait until teacher asks for volunteers instead of volunteering instantly.

EDIT: the walkthrough is more or less complete now, although it will require more experimentation before it's truly comprehensive.

When I got her to do it it was after I had tried it on the statue. So, I would suggest going to the statue alone, use the treasure, then go back and send Kitty away.

I'm not sure if talk about dildo, or fuck with dildo actually got it to work, but she didn't do it until I already used it on the statue.

Getting the pictures from Miss Smith requires you to have learned all five parts of the equation. The five things you do to learn them are listed in my walkthrough, but if you want a hint, they're all sexual in nature (just 'think about equation' to see how many parts you know at any time). As far as I can tell, volunteering for the Lorentz equations doesn't affect anything.
