No, there're free. You just have to download them in the extensions folder of singles directory.
You can also made your own extension (for clothe, object or animation - this might be really tricky).

I was playing Sims the other day (big fan), and my Sim was merrily woohooing every man and woman she could get her hands on and consequently making me wish I could see and do more if you know what I mean.

I've spent a lot of time with the sex games you mentioned, but if you like The Sims gameplay, why not play The Sims with sex mods? You're asking to see and do more in that game, so I'm guessing you haven't even added nude skins/meshes never mind actual sex animations. I don't know which one you're playing but The Sims 2 has the most action. Granted there's more DIY involved but IMO it lets you enjoy The Sims with much more realistic adult scenarios.

Check out http://www.thesimsnude.com for a comprehensive collection of skins and mods and where to find them.

Sounds interesting.
To be honest, I didnt know you could do that. I suppose my fear is doing irrepairable damage to my sims saves etc. PLUS I'm not the only person to play the sims on my computer. So doing loads of modding to make sexy adult scenes would be easily detected, right? So maybe getting (and concealing) sims 2 would be the way forward. Would I have to get many of the expansions, cos that also sounds costly.... And just how sexy do these scenes get, I had a little nose at the site and I saw a few pictures, would they be hard to recreate? (noob at this, sorry)

As far as I know most, if not all, the sex addons for the sims are free.
Now I haven't tried any of these (beside the basic uncensor and nude skins), but it feels like the addons don't really add much in terms of gameplay. You get some extra actions, which I assume become alternatives for "woohoo", but beyond that I wouldn't expect any changes to the gameplay. But in the end it'll all have to play out in your mind. In other words, the game won't do anything to stop ridiculuos stuff from happening, so it might seem all Sims suddenly become uninhibited sex maniacs.

Now I read some reviews of Singles 2: Triple Trouble to refresh my mind, and you don't get any threesome action there. And apparently most sex takes place beneath covers, and there's even some censoring (which you can remove though). So that's not really ideal either...

And uhm, not that I want to push you to do anything illegal (and I won't link anything here...), but maybe what you need is a little "try before you buy"? :P It shouldn't be too hard to "obtain" some of these games so you can see what you like.

There are mods for Singles 2 that remove the blankets so you can see the sex acts performed. They include vaginal, anal and oral intercourse and can include heterosexual couples or homosexual (male/male, female/female). Sex acts can be performed in bed, in the shower, in the hot tub, and in a room on a special sex blanket. It is not possible to have 3 or more people engaging in sex together. The mods are free and work well if they are installed exactly as the directions specify.

Years ago on Shark's old site we had a lot of discussion about Singles 2 that would be helpful, but that's all gone now.

I sometimes play Sims 3 with mods that allow nudity, polygamy/polyandry, etc. As far as I know, there are no mods that allow viewing sex acts for Sims 3. I think those are available for Sims 2.

You can find sex mods for Sims 2 and Sims 3 here: http://www.sexysims2.com/ You need to register (free) to download. These mods are made by amateurs to improve (in their view) game play and are almost always free. I think all mods on the sexysims2 site are free. By the way, though the site is called sexysims2, it has mods for both Sims 2 and Sims 3.

I haven't tried it myself but http://www.pandorasims.net have a "Super" nude patch as well as the usual one for Sims 2 and 3. You have to subscribe to get it though but it includes full male and female meshes... Yep - Your male Sims acquire some actual "wedding tackle" :) You can even adjust the sizes... I wonder how many go for the "extra small"?

Thankyou everyone who has contributed to this discussion. It's definitely helped me consider things. The nude patches might be interesting but in the end it is just an extra giggle. Not quite what I had in mind. Maybe the Sims 2 few extra positions would be more it but I'd have to get sims 2 and enough extensions to make it worth it so in the end I'll pass on it.
As for Singles.... well, I dont know about getting a free version, I'm a good ickle girl and I dont torrent or really trust downloads in general unless I've been sourced by someone reliable so *shrugs*. In the end I'll have to be happy with the excellant work from Shark and the team.
*kisses to you all*

As long as we're talking games you have to pay for: what about Night Stud? What's that like?

There's a demo on http://www.nightstud.com/ so you can actually try it.
My experience with it was that it's really repetitive. And mostly it seems like watching porn with a twist, lacking actual gameplay value...

Totally agree... Like working on a production line, one repetitive act after another. Then when it comes to the porn you'd be better off using a site like xhamster for better clips without the bother of going through the tedious gameplay.
