A nice game even with the lack of sexual content in the beginning but it is not one that I would play again unless I had a walkthrough to tell me all the tiny bits I missed and I know that I have. (Did not figure out a way to explore the cave under the cliff is the big one I am thinking of but could be more).

I found the lack of the undo command to be very frustrating, I learnt early on to save before any foray into the water so after the shark ate me I could go back only a few steps but sometimes when I was running around the island looking for another coconut, I lost track of where I was and instead of hitting West 3 times to get me back to the sharp rock, I hit East 3 times and drowned in the rip tide, very frustrating if the previous save was over half a day ago.

In conclusion, yes it was a good game but I think the bit I liked the most was that it showed off your improvements in mastering the Gargoyle Engine, Peril in Pleasantville was described as a "Diamond in the rough" Gasparillo has shown signs of polish and has made me want more and more of your work. (As well as making me rather jealous as I have an idea for one of these games but I have no idea how to program or how to make the sexy ladies you and the other great artists I see at the Lagoon do).

Thanks for the feedback, at first this game was going to be something much bigger but I decided to scale it way back and focus just on the island. BTW I do not know if you are aware but I have another game I put out between this one and peril in pleasantville called the adventures of super shlong issue 1 which can be found here: http://www.the-new-lagoon.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2706

it is not a bug, I am assuming that you entered the water? I made it so if you are carrying the opened coconut or driftwood that you leave it on the beach where you enter the water instead of carrying it into the water with you. It would not make much sense diving under the water for instance with an opened coconut. As for the fish unless you dropped it someplace or still have it in your inventory you should find it along the beach somewhere.

I have a question about the cave under the bluff.

Is there anything you can do with the chest in the cave?

But when I try approaching the chest I get killed... Am I supposed to do something else?

At that point the chest is still a distance away, to get to it you will first need to figure out how to get past the trap

OK got that. Thanks for the help. There is another thing I was wondering...

[spoiler]Is there anything you can do with the rings in the cave? Also is there anything to do with the coins?

Re: the rings, no they are just there for some flavor. You cannot do anything with the coins during the game but getting them gives you a slightly different game ending than not having them.

Ok, I'm stuck verb-guessing at making fire..... I think I know the method I'm supposed to use (
rub stick on tinder, then set fire to the driftwood, maybe something to set up a safe fireplace
), but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it...
