On the Christine/Adrian character topic:

Looking back on other games like this, i personally prefer “hard to get”-girls in such games. But I still like the required directness in the game due to Christines extreme personality, it’s different and gives a nice example that just because the girl is “easy” doesn’t mean that the game has to be easy… also it gives the game kind of a porn-touch, which I don’t mind. Wouldn’t date a girl like that in real life tho.

I’m content with the explanation that they’re simply individual characters that we don’t have to like to play the game and that it makes certain dream-scenarios easier to explain.
BUT: I still don’t buy the Adrian character. He’s a nervous virgin in the beginning but he becomes very direct with Christine very quickly (needs to be) and STILL is a lapdog all the time. That just doesn’t fit, it’s not realistic or believable (at least in this extreme way). I’ve got a feeling, that maybe Tlaero likes her men confident but she also likes to fantasize that she can toy with them all she wants? Sorry for that personal presumption.

But I want to stress out again: Those are details that don’t matter to me in the end at all. But the better a game is, the better one looks for details that keeps the game from 100% perfection.

Wow, a hard work this game. I like it. Yes i know how long you must work on this game.
My favorit game was 'Date with Keeley franz. version.
Now it is 'Christine'. The figures in this game are very very realistic. That's good.

This game is a idea to long, but very very good.

A little question. How i can find the secret ending ...

I concur, it's kind of against the rules for creating a game. But i wouldn't be so hard on them. It's just the amount of try and error that i accept and like in such a game. I already look forward to come home from work today so that i can try and error from the beginning again.

Two ways of avoiding this problem in the future:
- Start a new point-counter at the beginning of each level.
- Give at least some kind of feedback that the points were lost earlier in the game and at this state there's no way to win anymore.

I did notice this. I like to have a look through files to see what I have missed out on and look for ways to achieve them.

I have completed the game on Hard about 5 times, one with debug. Can't figure it out. I am going to assume it is during/after the club this can happen ?? I have finished at 'the best ending' with just shy of 100 points on hard, both with and without cheating.

Anyways, Overall great work. This would be up there with best released to date, which is still AB.

I did not notice any bugs.
Couple minor spelling mistakes.
Animated images, the quality was turned down a little, bit of color loss.
Apart from that, GREAT

Over all, awesome game. I can tell a lot of time and work went into it, and it has a bunch of scenarios and some great art.

I have to throw in with the crowd that says they disliked Christine. She's controlling and manipulative, and the game never QUITE seems to address that this is a bad thing. Instead, everyone keeps saying how cool she is. The culmination seems to be everyone bending over backwards for her instead of her flaws actually getting addressed. I think I would have enjoyed her concept a lot more if she had room to develop inside the story.

It's a little too linear for my tastes. I do like the exploration element that most dating sims have, but I understand that, given the volume of material in Getting to Know Christine, adding branching paths to that would have been madness.

That said, it was a great game with a lot of fun scenes. Thank you both for putting such hard work into a free project! I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with after your well-deserved break.

I won't disagree with some of those taking on the characterization of Christine, but certainly, I think a lot of this has more to do with the fact that Adrian doesn't seem to evolve in the game. What is characterized as bossy is true if Adrian continues to be timid after experiencing all that he's experienced. I mean, this doesn't take place over six consecutive days (at least, doesn't seem that way), so why not evolve Adrian over that period a bit?

I don't mind the "strong woman" character that Christine is at all. It was definitely different from most, and I think that's a good thing that we see different approaches towards the game.

It was a little linear, but then again, there was enough there that I also said "There's MORE still?" at least twice.

Ok, some more thoughts

1) The transformation of Adrian is actually quite easy to explain. He is shy, has problems with women and our of a blue finds out all the wonders of sex. If you look from that perspective - it isn't all that surprising he agrees for everything. After all - what choice does he have ? Peeking at his neighbor ? And once you agree for one thing that was previously unacceptable for you, agreeing for further ones comes much, much easier. So I personally don't see a problem here. Those are the craziest days of his life, carpe diem so to say

2) Behavior of Christine is however rather difficult to accept. Let's face it - she arranges them to meet and talk, tries to test him and see if he is a good guy. Yet she engages in lesbianism right in front of Adrian ? And places webcams at her neighbors, wich is a criminal activity ? That is hard to buy, I'm sorry. They barely met and she seems to be MUCH more interested in testing everything else BUT Adrian. He seems to be on the second plan here, this is hard to accept. Also - placing cameras at the neighbor's is against the law and could potentially ruin her career and destroy her as a person...

3) Secret ending rocks !

I don't like to criticize without giving some possible solutions, so here is what I think

I believe that the story would feel a lot more believable and would also be a lot nicer to the player if it went a little different, yet would work perfectly well with the current characters

How ? Well, instead of putting them on a wild ride... Let them first truly meet and understand each other. Christine chose him because she believes he is a good guy - so maybe they should go and form a relationship first... And then start to spice it up

So after a few dates their relationship would be established inside the game, then the time could skip a bit and we'd land with them forming a nice couple, but with Christine looking for more, asking Adrian to spice things up and explore things together

For me such a scenario would allow to keep pretty much all the content from the game, all the 3-somes, 4-somes, lesbianism and so on without making the game hard to accept as something that could really happen

well i already finished the game and it was awesome i finished all three difficulty endings it was fun discovering what i have missed but i found out that it was awesome it is a really good game oh and you guys i mean the makers well i hope you will make more like this and if it is possible even longer ones kepp up the good work and really a 10 out of 10 game

Okay, first of all - great game. One of the best I ever played!

But could anybody give a broad indication of where to search for the extra ending? The game is huge (which is great!!), but this really discourages from searching through the whole plot for a probably tiny trigger to the scene... So, without spoiling, could anybody post after which checkpoint/ in which scene to search?

Definitely enjoyed the game overall, though I'm going to be one more person who points out that it was a little more linear than I would have liked, and it would have been nice if Christine was a little less unpleasant/insane.
