Excellent static graphics, as is usual for Puso. Better animated graphics than usual. I too lament the lack of sound, though given the nature of a good 2/3 of the encounters it's probably understandable. But it's not much of a "game," is it? Only one very slightly complicated double motion required, and that's mostly difficult because the scene is too dark to see the second thing one has to do. Mostly just obvious and repetitive back-and-forth motions. I do see that he's taken certain criticisms regarding excess fluids and a lack of sexual detail to heart, which are both welcome. There are some near-beautiful sequences in this, graphically. But...
My major complaint is that I would have really enjoyed the playthrough (I'm not sure I can call it a game) had the
(The preceding isn't much of a spoiler, since there are no options and apparently no loss conditions in the game, but it's worth hiding for now.) This continues the major problem with Puso's last few games: the females lack agency. They're just receptacles/objects to whom things happen without their control or, in some cases, consent (my issue isn't the lack of consent, necessarily...though I know it will most definitely be for some people...but the lack of any notion that the lack of it is important or even under consideration). I disliked D&S3 for the exact same reason, actually; what could have been really hot scenes became cold because the central character was essentially irrelevant to the action.
I was kind of hoping that both Slick and the farmer's daughter would have choices to make in the next few episodes, or at least some sort of difficulty with the "love rectangle" between Slick, the childhood lust object, the daughter, and the hired hand could be constructed. Given Puso's style, I suspect it would have ended in multiple partners, and that would have been great. But as it stands, the story's rather forced and linear, and it's fairly obvious where it's going. An opportunity wasted, and a shame.
