Oops. Sorry. I stand corrected. It's been a long time since I solved equations...I know how to do them...but I thought you just solved them in the order presented...

25+21x2 is not 92.
1st you do 21x2=42 + 25 = 67

So goes on the rest

Read the earlier post and worked it out. The first problem should have read 25 + (21 x 2) = which would make it more correct. Perhaps you could correct this Leoniser?

And its correct without brackets too . Calculating x and / before + and - is a wellknown math rule, guess you've all learned this in elementary school

rle68, it's clear and we all understand that in the most cases the schooltime is far ago. But I think, Leonizer did not put in his game very difficult math challenges. The math rule, which the most of the gamers did not remember, is also to solve with logical thinking. 1) It is a very common strategy in science to proceed just as MDK did above: If you are not sure about a thing which has two options, just try both! 2) The calculation of 25+21x2 can be seen as follows: Instead of 25 we take A. Instead of 21 we take B. Then we can show the calculation as: A+2B . Now we take 2B, which is 42 and add it to A, which is 25. The result shows 67 and is easy to get. That all is logical human thinking and has nothing to do with complicated math rules!
