Ok, the game is quite simple and I am almost ashamed to ask, but it's driving me nuts!

Reading the faqs (both Cole's website and the .txt), I finally managed to get the two girls together.

First problem: according to the faq, you can type command in the form "Shelby and Brittany masturbate" ([character] and [character][command]). However, everytime I try, I get the following responses: "I don't know what you want me to do with [character]" and/or "You have 2 girls in the room, why don't you let them do something together?" Which is exactly what I want to do...

Anyway, I noticed that you have a similar result if you type the command in the "usual" form: [character] [command] [character]'s [body part] (Shelby touch brittany's pussy, the response you have is that they touch each other's pussy.

That said, I am now at the point where the game gets tough. I scored 30 points and, since the girls are together, I ordered them to:

touch tits,
lick tits ( x2: the only action which gives different results depending on the characters' order),
touch ass,
touch pussy.

Now I tell them to lick their pussies (or asses) and they just stop. Am I typing the wrong commands? "Shelby lick Brittany's pussy" (or vice versa). Or Did I miss some important puzzle/item or whatever?

I too tried to browse the code but it's password protected.

And AGAIN!!! I put the candles in the candle holders and tried to light them with the lighter but noooooooooooooooo, I might drip wax or start a fire... x candles: "there are no candles here!!!!!" get candle holders: "there are no candles here!!!!" What am I? Hallucinating? Do I need a fire extinguisher to light some bloody candles

wtf... Wrong adrift version!!! The game was desigend for 3.9, I used 4.0.

It's a relief, in its way: now I know I wasn't the idiot here, the program was!

On a side note, I finished with 24 pics out of 25 (the faq explains the reason) and only 66 points out of 100. God knows what I missed.

Yes. As I said, it was the wrong adrift version. 4.0 didn't want to realize the candles were in the candle holders...

I played some more, and I managed to get 84 points. I just told them to do things with different words, getting slighly different results. (same old difference between "brit and shelby..." and "brit [action] shelby's...", plus, at first I had forgotten the ass )

That is, of course, if you already gave her a tour of the house (GIVE TOUR).

I have typed in 6 or 7 commands and then i get (run time error 70)
(permission denied) that comes up,game stop,

I started to play (WINDY 1) 6 or 7 commands with the same message.
can any one help.
Could it be security setting????

What operating system are you using? I've had problems with ADRIFT 3.9 under Vista x64.

The alternative is using Gargoyle (http://ccxvii.net/gargoyle/) but that doesn't support entering your character's name.

Not to change the subject, but does anyone know how to (if possible) upgrade Adrift 3.9 to 4.0? The number of Adrift games I see available would almost double if I knew how to do this, but I'm not very tech or computer literate and I have no idea how to go about this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ADRIFT 3.9 and ADRIFT 4.0 are both available free from www.adrift.org.uk.

ADRIFT 3.9 games have to use ADRIFT 3.9, and ADRIFT 4.0 games have to use ADRIFT 4.0. I believe it's possible to convert 3.9 games to 4.0 but it usually creates problem. Possibly the easiest option is to use an interpreter like Gargoyle (above) that can handle both (though not perfectly).

ADRIFT 5.0 is currently in development, but there's currently no exact date for it's release.

A few have graphical content. School Dreams 3 being the most popular.

Also GNYA by Newkid. However I never could get into the game. The fact that the author used the pictures of famous actors/actresses kinda put me off.
