Help, I can get as far as the church courtyard and charming the nun. How do you get to the hotel, via the library, I can't get the option of room 101 and the Mother Superior never gets ill.

I have learned the invisiblity spell and found Kate and freed her. I have also gotten the vase to the mechanic but can't figure out the "neo" spell. I have also had my anatomy lesson, but I think I am stuck until I can get the Mother Superior sick.

This is a great game and I thank you for your help.

Neo One It's the shielded charm.

Did you meet the ghost in the backroom of the hotel?

I think he means that you click go to the library and then the hotel appears in the list. As for the vase, after it is opened, click the picture of the gem. The Shielded spell replaces the Charm spell. Hope this helps.

For this and several other "how do I find something to confront a Bad Magical Evil FoeTm" questions, you can either ask the at the antiques shop or at the new age shop. They'll give you a very clear indication of where to find the item you need, and of how to use it.




And now, the spoilerific version: go to the church, charm a young nun to get a personal item of the old one, Possess her, steal a relic with the power to contain demons if freshly annointed with holy water, and do exactly that.

That item never shows up, anywhere. I found the secret passage out of the church, but no items other than the chalice and dagger.

That means that the path to banish Legion has not yet started. Detailed, spoilerific (last warning) path below:

- Go to the park until you see "Jesse" (waste time otherwise visiting places and peoples, that's what makes the game advance)
- Talk with Legion (and tell her off, otherwise it's game over
- Let time pass (see above)
- Go home (the character is a Yank, anyway. Sorry, couldn't resist!)
- If Tracy tells you that your mum wants to talk to you, do so (otherwise, waste some more time).
- Mum tells you that you have a visitor.(Guess who?
- See her and follow the conversation (be sure to grab the stone)
- Talk to the (charmed, do it now if not already) antiques shop owner and with the new age shop owner. Buy H2Oly (sorry, couldn't resist, either!) if you don't have it. Get the Possesion spell from the school if you don't have it.

You MIGHT have the Rosary from the Kurdoff path. Otherwise, here's how to get it:

- Go visit the Church and Charm Pamela and Sor Desiree if they are not yet. Ask them about the Relic. Tell Desiree to get the relic.
- Go waste some time and return. You'll find her again saying that she failed.Waste more time otherwise.
- Tell her to bring you a personal item from the Mother Superior and go waste time again.(Or exploit a bug and grab outright if you go to the naughty pics instead of talking.
- Waste time AGAIN and return to the church to get the Rosary.(Skip this step if you used the above exploit).


- Go to the Sacred Clearing and use the Rosary to Possess the Rosary. Cast Clairvoyance to reveal the secret room in her room. Grab the Relic and go see Desiree. Give her the Relic. Disposses the old nun.
- Go AGAIN to the Church and get the Relic from Desiree.
- Back home, you should have a message from Legion. Hear it.
- Go to the Hotel room 113 WITH the Relic and the Holy Water
- DO NOT give the Relic to Legion, yet. Tell her to play with her pet a bit.
- While she is distracted, annoint the Relic.
- WITHOUT LEAVING THE ROOM, give the annointed Relic to her.
Congratulations. You won the last active, winnable path.

So are all the other talismans, artifacts, and those hot black girls just extra stuff that never gets used?

On the evil route, I've discovered that Gina's heirloom doesn't prevent possession, so that's a dead end until I can find a way to get the talisman in dead Sir Richard's hidden safe (since he never teaches me clairvoyance).

There are a few non-used pics of artifacts, daggers, etc. Also a few non-used girls' pics. Including the one GoG pic I was hoping for. But the HBGs are used, just you didn't found them... yet. One of them is the nurse that heals you if you are shot down by Anita in the park in the "more evil" route (c'mon! there is NOT any "non-evil" route here), the rest are pics of Jesse/Legion and her/their thralls.

Edit:Sorry, me bad. That's the OTHER nurse. The black one is the one that's treating Mrs. Granger if she's shot down in the Museum in either path.

To get Clairvoyance in the murder path, you need to charm Richard's niece, then go walk around (specifically, one visit to the school), then go talk to her again. She'll teach it to you now. But you don't get the Aftane with Clairvoyance, you get it with Pass (doh!)

For all the times I've seen Mrs. Granger being shot, there's been no path to the hospital and she shows up just fine at home later. Must work on being more EViiiiiLLLL!

Thanks for the help with the Neo One. I still can't get to the hotel from the library and never see room 101. I have talked with the ghost in the basement after the seance. Not sure what I am missing.

As for the evil(er) path. How does one meet the neice to charm her? Is is possible to get a wallet so the Wealth spell is useful?

The wealth spell comes in handy since you've killed your otherwise Sugar Daddy and there's few other opportunities to get money for cab rides and items. I don't know what you mean by wallet (I think the older version of the game it).

I think it's Library => Town Hall => Hotel.

Sometimes I don't see Room 101 either.

I don't remember... Is room 101 the one with the Legion or the one with Kate? If it's the former, you first have to "terminate" the ghost (get all the stuff he asks you and so on), if it's the latter, I guess you don't see it if you already have un-charmed Kate? Or if you did something that prevented Kate from showing up in that room. It seems to happen randomly, but actually there is a logic reason if you don't see it, it's just that I don't remember...

The neice comes veeery late in the game. The wallet: that's weird: I tried the good path with Bob and the spell didn't work, then I tried the evil path with Barbara and it did. So, you either have to control Barbara or go down to the evil path.
