I tracked this one down.
This is really not impressive at all. It's the same game as the original Sim brothel, only with a slightly different design. You got much of the same girls with much of the same pictures, and the gameplay is gimped as the take a walk feature isn't even working. And if that isn't enough, when you have played the game for a random amouth of time, you get an error message that you will be stuck with untill you shut it down.

I got the version from the game developers site. There you got some of the these bugs fixed. you can now walk down the street, but as you get to the end of the dialogue, you never actually get the girl. There you got a cheat option that gives you gold ( obviously for testing the various game mechanics.

As far as I can see the only thing that's radically altered is the take a walk function, and the game interface got a slightly different outlay.

My verdict is Thumb down. This is bad. This is really terrible. You can't take a game and call it 2 and have the same game as the first one only with a slightly better inferface and a minor change in gameplay. You don't call it a second game you call it a game expansion to the original sim brothel. Just track down the original game and have fun with that, because this... as least as it is now is a waste of time. You are just repeating what you did in the first game, only slightly worse.

I have been helping the people developing SimBroth 2. It has been expanding. It is still in development faze, but it is coming along. Karal_II has been doing a lot of work on it in the past couple of weeks. It is up to 2.1.4.100114_3 (making some corrections, he put out 3 different versions on Jan 14'th. There is still some work to be done on it but it is working very nicely. He has brought back the weekly jokers. Pictures from daily work for the girls are no longer limited to the manager. There is basically a slide show for each house.

There are some minor problems at this time. You can't expand the houses. "Taking the girls out for a walk before work" is still in development (when it is working, you will be able to obtain girls on the street). There are a few graphic problems (some rap around words that are loosing the lower half their letters). The "health" of the houses and the girls are standing at 100, but those won't be turned on till all the kinks are worked out. These are all secondary functions which will be reactivated when the main stuff is finished.

There is no ETA for the finished point. but, hey, they want to take care of the whole program (unlike MicroSoft). The one bonus of the whole thing is that, from what I understand, this game will be freeware, even when it is finished.

Ok... this is confusing. I got the newest version of simbroth off of the page I listed about 5 hours ago.... so it is still functioning... and I went to the site you mention... and it is being run by THE SAME PEOPLE... 8-) I think they are both functioning...

Let's make it even MORE confusing. Your "new page" does not have the newest version of the game posted on it yet. In fact, 2 versions (of the C# version... I dunno about the others) have been posted since the last one listed there. It has 2.1.4_100122_1. 2.1.4_100122_2 and 2.1.4_100125_1 are out.

Maybe they are in process of moving things... or this is just a second site... I dunno.

OH... btw... I just had a conversation (forum notes) with Raed, the moderator of both pages listed above. He said the one that Indipuk listed was created when they thought they had lost Karel_II, the primary designer of the game. But he is back, so the page I listed is, once again, the primary page.
