Does anyone got Chaotic's email ? When I try to access the virtual date girls home page all I get is random russian portal sites. I think his site might be hacked.
There's javascrïpt redirection on index.html and main.html. Turn off javascrïpt before entering or go directly to another page for ex. http://virtualdategirls.com/VDG.html
I'd sugest changing the FTP password into a VERY secure one and then changing the pages back. If the Russian javascrïpt pages come again, you'll kow it was the ads
Chaotic, as I can see your site is not using any parameters in URLs of pages. So we have only two possibilties how site can be hacked: - first one is ads (google ads I suggest). I don't really believe they can be hacked. - second is FTP password (this one is the most possible).
Can your PM me pages with malicious code? I'll try to investigate more.
Hi I am new and just started playing Chaotics games. I am still having trouble getting in to play the free versions. The website will freeze and redirects me to some yahoo page that says the page is not available. Then the page will com back up only to freeze again. Are others still having trouble accessing?
My AV caught an Intrusion Attack (Java DT input invalidation) from spicyyear.ru (94.23.174.74:8080/Applet6.html) at VDG that looks like an Ad Redirect. Most servers will catch an FTP password attack pretty quickly, unless the password is something *really* simple. Ad redirects are easy hacks to make and very hard to prevent.
I tried some pages on the freesite with no issues; I don't have an account for the offsite so I can't say further.
Maybe Muffinlover you've picked up some malware; I notice our respective posts are about 40-45 mins apart (has Chaotic attended to something in that time frame?).
Thanks Squeeky, I have run all my malware cleaners (spybot, hijack this, microsoft) and they do not find anything. Today I played and kep getting the Yahoo error page
Chaotic mentioned that if you are getting the yahoo error page that i could be traffic...i use FF and i noticed if get the yahoo error page, i close down and restart FF and that problem goes away...
