Well, I'm back! (and with a brand new name... but that's another story for another day, many of you should remember me).

This is my first post in a very long time, but let's stop beating around that bush and get down to it. Here's the deal:

BoneTown actually has a somewhat decent encode for it's overall system. Unfortunately, because of this and coupled with it being released by an American company (which, for those who don't know, actually creates a whole new series of problems with releasing these cracks), there are very few resources for getting the full game.

BUT FEAR NOT! THERE IS HOPE!

While you can not get the FULL version of the game in its entirety, you can have almost everything. Basically, the most widespread crack merely transforms the game from the Demo into a "Full" game, minus a few things (ie. music outside of the demo, items outside of the demo, etc, etc). But there are a few steps you will need to follow in order to do this. Here's what's up:

download the main files:
links deleted. Please, no links toward hacked or cracked games

Then, you want to download the crack (which, again, isn't 100%, but i'll get to that in a moment)
links deleted. Please, no links toward hacked or cracked games

Here's where things start to get a bit messy:
You need to:
1. go into your game folder and find "GameDataMissions"
2. delete "BoardwalkDemo.mis"
3. find "Boardwalk.mis" and rename it to "BoardwalkDemo.mis"
4. delete "BeachBarDemo"
5. find "BeachBar.mis" and rename it to "BeachBarDemo.mis"

Voila. You now have access to most of the game. Except, wait... Censored? WTF!? Well, that's no good. So here's what we're going to do:
1. Go into your game folder and find "GameDataItemsTextures"
2. delete the file "Vajstar"
3. also delete the file "censoredStars"
4. Go into your game folder and find "GameDataChicksCharactersTextures"
5. delete the file "YellowNipStars"

And, Voila! You now have BoneTown, uncensored, with the entire game... sort of...

Remember that little bit earlier about "minus a few things"? Well, here's the deal.

Installing the game in this method will unlock the missions and enable you to play the game, except some of the animations don't work exactly as they should, there is no music outside of the demo zone and you only have access to the power-ups from the demo. Oh, and one last thing... when you save outside of the demo zone... you start back in the demo zone.

BUT! You can play the game.

I know this isn't an ideal solution to playing, but it's really the best that can be offered unless you pony up the cash and register the game online. Personally, I don't really care for this game myself, so the crack was enough for me. I appreciate where they're going with the concept, and really enjoy the fact that there is an actual game to be played instead of just countless sex scenes... but, let's face it. Even with the western-"anime" styling of this game, it can't hold a candle to it's Japanese brethren.

Enjoy,

actually, he shouldn't rename them, he should make a copy of both that he renames, as both the demo named ones and the others are needed.
Say you try to enter the bar the renamed boardwalk will look for the none demo .mis file, same when exiting the bar, it'll look for a non demo file.
If you don't have both you can't walk back into the beach area from any place, so both "versions" is needed
Installing the game in this method will unlock the missions and enable you to play the game, except some of the animations don't work exactly as they should, there is no music outside of the demo zone and you only have access to the power-ups from the demo. there's an upside to the non working power-ups, the "bosses" can't use them either. so they become alot easier to deal with.
the saving thing gets really annoying however, much more so that the missing power ups.

bah, forgot to say in the other post.
getting the game by "wrongful means" and you really don't have much reason to complain about stuff not working etc.
and should really support smaller, independent game developers so they'd release more games, and/or improve/expand existing ones.

I posted a game save file for the demo on a BoneTown fansite I'm working on - http://www.downloadbonetown.com Look right at the top or in the 'Top 5' section on the right side of the page for the demo save post. The site's still being developed, so please excuse the crappy layout and colors.

It starts you off with ball size 20 and attack 20 plus some money and drugs. Great for messing around with the hotties and kicking some ass while trying out the demo. Install instructions are included.

There was a link posted in this thread:
http://sharks-lagoon.aceboard.fr/215394-2094-5753-0-BoneTown-Full-Game.htm

I don't know if it's still good or not - but it's worth a try.
The demo was hosted here:
http://dasim.lunarbreeze.com/~bonet0/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=32
but I just tried the link and it seems to be down at the moment - hopefully it will come back up.

Can anyone that have played this game write a small review of it ?
How is the gameplay, is the game big or small ( estm gameplay hours,) Does it contain enough variation to keep you entertained or do you get bored after playing it one time ?

The reason that I ask for this is that I am considering buying it from the website, but I don't want to waste any money on it if the game is crap. I thought I had tried most adult computer games out there, at least the bigger titles, but this one has slipped passed me somehow.

The game has gotten mixed reviews. It's been compared to GTA but with hardcore porn. The missions can be very difficult unless you have unlocked the special powers and use them a lot during boss fights. Some people complain about having to spam the special attacks during boss fights to beat the missions.

Overall I'd say it's not a bad game for D-dub's first release. There's probably at least a good 20-40 hours of gameplay for the average gamer, and I'd say that the re-playability of the game isn't too bad. There's already an update/expansion in the works that will feature live porn movies viewable when you visit the theater in the last large city in the game.

The story line is ok, and somewhat humorous at times. The interface is very intuative, so jumping right into the game is no problem. The graphics are decent, although they did re-use many of the female skins on different models which I think was the biggest detractor in the game - it gets more noticeable as you get further into the game. The character sex animations tend to make up for the skinning shortcuts though.

There's plenty of missions, side missions and although individual map areas are not huge, there are plenty of them linked together to provide for a lot of exploration overall.

I've posted some trailers and gameplay movies on my site at http://www.downloadbonetown.com so you can check those out.

I've got a few links on my site if you decide to buy (shameless plug time)... they are my affiliate links - so, thank you - if you ultimately decide to buy and use my links.

I think this game is worth buying to support d-dub and to see more full-featured sex game releases from them and other developers in the future.

[no]-The official demo download link still seems to be broken, so I'm putting v1.03 and the v1.04 update patch on my site now. I'll post back when they're uploaded. Not sure how long I can keep them there - I'll have to watch my bandwidth and see how hard I get hit.[/no]

Download links are working and can be found here: http://downloadbonetown.com/?p=67 about 1/2 way down the page.

I play this game after finishing and find it enjoyable. It's not something you can go through really quickly, and is worth the money, i.m.o.

Instead of cracking the game, etc., why not buy it? That way these guys can afford to put out new ones. I guarantee they're not getting rich off Bonetown and I'd like to see more from them.

I really enjoyed the game.
