Ok, I asked a question about the standalone vs installed version on the AIF Yahoo group. Maybe we'll have an answer. Actually it would be ok if that was the cause, I'd just have to use an other ADRIFT version !

I don't remember who first, but you can ask people about the note. You'll eventually find someone who can help you, then another, and so on.

Dunno when Seztworks might be back. Last post I saw from him anywhere indicated he had some kind of personal loss, and would be a while trying to work through it.

having what I believe is a bug.

I can't get into the kitchen even after a certain late night incident. I've moved forward on most of the other stories, but have no traction on Rain, Morgan, or Taylor at all, and barely any with Frey, who asked me to meet her in the kitchen. Which... I can't get into. Is this a bug?

Related, I can't upgrade my laptop. Nobody wants to talk to me about it. I'm guessing i need photos of frey first which means, I need kitchen access.

You don't need kitchen access to advance Frey. Most of Frey's events occur in the Restaurant. What is your display telling you is next?

Frey is restaurant related, msot of her anyway. You might want to check earlier times at said restaurant.

No, there isn't.

My play method was to hit pretty much every location within the hotel (minus the ladies' rooms) that I could reach at every hour. I would save at certain hours (7 am and 1 pm) and run the locations for a 3-4 hour span, then re-load and 'work' if no events popped up during the span. That allowed me to ...cook, work, cook, eat, work, cook... every day, unless I found an event, until I maxed cooking and/or didn't need to work anymore.


BTW, has anyone heard from Seztworks in the last couple of months?
