I agree, it should be possible, but it isn't. Tried it on both Natalie corruption and elite paths.

Even if you don't go to dinner with Natalie, if you refuse to name her when Emily ask for her name after constantly calling her "that stripper" in the past [it's possible Emily using the wrong name was intentional!] you won't get a "lap dance" from Emily. Only by correcting Emily you can get anywhere... of course, if you also tell Emily you went to breakfast she'll back off thinking Natalie is Brad's girlfriend [since I don't think it's usual for stripper to go to breakfast with their customers!].

They probably don't go to breakfast with their customers but I don't see why wouldn't do so with their friends, and it is possible to be friends with a stripper and not be a customer. lol

That was the point... if Brad was just a customer, Natalie would probably never go to breakfast with him. The fact that she did mean that there is more to their relationship then just business, which is why Emily back off.

I've been following this game for awhile now, since back in the Projects thread of this forum. I remember thinking that the Bar scene was one of the best scenes I've ever played in these type of games, and this game had incredible potential. At this point though, I just want to reiterate a point a prior user mentioned about the grindiness of the game. I don't recall it feeling that way earlier in it's release, but now it seems like with each new episode it becomes more and more so. It feels like I'm missing half the content of the game now because it's locked off behind bonus scenes because I haven't gotten every single achievement in a day/game. Episode 5 is supposed to be the diner scene with Natalie, correct? Is there anything beyond that scene other than establishing if your friends or something more? Maybe if the game included a release log of some sorts outlining what additional content is there (diner scene, additional 15 pictures, additional content for emily corruption path, etc.), I'd understand a bit more about what I should be trying to find.

With the bar release, and strip club release, there was a lot of content to explore and experience in an episode. However, even though there were obviously a lot of paths within those scenes, to me it felt like there was a streamlined goal in each of them. With these newer releases, I have no concept of what I should even be striving for anymore. It seems like I need to play through the game 15 different ways just to experience one or two scenes in the new episode. And if I didn't do something specifically, the episode is like 10-15 new pictures and the day ends. As much as I love those prior scenes, I don't have the patience to go through them 50 different times to select every single option, just so I can see some additional bonus scene. I know that bonus scenes are common in these games, such as Getting to Know Christine and so on, but usually it's just one bonus scene at the end of the game for getting a perfect score. This game is just so much more complex though, it seems like achieving perfection (without using a guide of some sort) is practically impossible. I don't even remember half the paths I took. As this game continues, it just seems like an issue that's only going to grow exponentially.

All that being said, I still think this game is a great achievement and acknowledge the amount of work being put in is incredible. The UI changes now appears to be the gold standard for this style of game. But that's what makes it so aggravating to me as well, because it feels like with each new episode, I miss more than I see.

Or maybe she's just a good friend... one who does not want to interfere with potential relationship between Brad & Natalie, or even worse, be the one responsible for that relationship to fail. Just as [at least as far as we know] Brad didn't interfere in her relationship with Eddie.

The story states that Brad has been long term friends with Natalie, Faith and herself, which she knows about and appears to be OK with. Yet based on the knowledge that Brad had breakfast with Natalie she automatically assumes that Brad's relationship with Natalie has changed from friends (maybe with benefits) to that of a couple.

Now it is possible that in the total time Emily has known Brad that he has never had breakfast with a female friend, so she is basing her reactions on a major change in his behaviour but there is no back-story to support this. lol

Since this is a slow burner, it's quite annoying when you have 6/8 done and don't recall which ones those are.

I see your point... but I'm not sure she assumed that relationship change is recent. It's possible she thought it happened awhile ago and Brad just didn't mentioned it. Remember, Brad does mention that Emily kept calling Natalie "that stripper" when talking about her, so as a result Brad not talk about Natalie much [even Emily say he only mention her "occasionally"].

Sadly, no, there is no way to check which ending you found... not for endings and not for activities [and try and remember which out of 26 activities you did!]. Hopefully there will be a way to track it in the future.

I am definitely flirting with Emily on Day 1, but in following the walk-through, I cannot get the dialogue options under the branch of the walkthrough that assumes you flirted with her... I am finishing Day 1 with 10 points for Emily, which I believe is the max. Very odd...

Yes, 10 relationship points with Emily is most you can get during office part of Day 1. You will need to get some "general" points during Strip Club branch or you wont have enough to pass tests required to have full scene on Day 2.

First, I would like to thank Wolfschadowe and his team (Kexter, testers and translators) for this new episode.

I started to play BEW after the release of episode 3 and it’s always a pleasure to discover the new “adventures” of Brad:
1) I like the new content, especially the breakfast with Nathalie (good turning point for the evolution of the character) and you surprised me with the Emily story arc (in a good way of course). For the next episodes, I can’t wait to get Jasmine in the loop even if I think it’s better to stay focus on the stories of the “current” girls.
2) The new UI is great.
3) The bonus scenes are a great “carrot” to discover unexpected paths through the achievements system. Nevertheless, I agree with some other players: it could be great to have more info/hints about the missing stuff for completing an achievement. The 26 requirements for “Working Boy” are very hard to find without the checklist of Deus Exlibris (and even with the checklist, I’m stuck at 25/26).

But I think that I’m missing “9. Brad refused to kiss Emily in the toilet and she got upset". On Emily's Corruption Path, I didn’t find a way to refuse in a way she became upset... If someone has a clue? ^^

As I played the French version of the game, I would like to know what’s the best way to propose corrections (spelling mistakes, sometimes we get some texts in English and not in French)? Should I PM Serge? Should I use the GUI?

To conclude: big respect for the development of BEW (although I fear for my sanity the day we reach the seventh day of the story, if not before... ^^)!
