Yeah, I've toyed with music a few times, but never liked the royalty free stuff I could find enough. I really like what you did with the nightclub "tap to the music" scene. I tried to do something similar with Coffee for Keisha, but without actual music, mine didn't really work. Yours is much better. (It's also cool to see at least one SITA character in that scene...)
I remember you saying that hit targets were really hard in Renpy. I'm glad to hear that they've either gotten easier or you've figured them out. 6 games in, I'm still trying to find the right balance between difficulty and fun wrt hit targets. Hidden hit targets that result in people missing important things or force them to sweep a mouse across the screen are a pain (a lesson hard learned in the Monkey Island games) but when done right, they're good. You definitely used them well in the dress shop and basketball scenes. I think they're also useful in erotic scenes (tapping body parts, etc) although you've stated that you're going for more R-rated than pornographic in your games, so that's probably not necessary for you. On the other hand, I suspect that scenes with a bunch of text options and a hidden hit target are probably bad (ala the original beach at night scene) although I'm guilty of doing that, even in my latest game. (Wow, I did almost the exact same thing as that scene. I wonder if I was subconsciously stealing from you. I probably do that a fair amount.) The trick, of course, is finding the line in between.
As for "back." I don't need to disable it. I can just not use it. I'm more thinking about the bug reports its probably causing for you. Worse, if someone says, "She did this wrong" because of a back button issue, it reflects on you unfavorably (and unfairly). You might find that you're better off without it. Of course, a significant number of players just care about how to get her to take her shirt off and won't notice minor inconsistencies in variable state. So, maybe it doesn't matter. (-:
