About myself, I have completed 84 years on this old ball, retired in 1982 (before many if not most of you were born) from running my own business. Been married for 63 years & raised 4 kids. Spent the last 3 years full time motorhomeing around the USA until settling in Georgia recently. Lived most of my life in the southwest.
Now that you are thoroughly bored, back to the lagoon. Love Wendy and Cloe, and the two girls experimenting were intoxicating. And then there is Milly, oh yes Milly (hurry with #37).
Really enjoy the “Sexy Girls” Forum thread. I take a dip in the Lagoon at least 3 times a week before retiring for the evening. A real battery charger that lagoon (at my point of life its essential). Congrats to Mr. Shark for its discovery, development and upkeep and all the folks who keep it stocked like Luke, Squeeky, Arnulf (thanks for rescuing me so many time with your walkthroughs),LRM (great Avatar), JJ and Il Joker ,RKShooter, Dito (sorry my tongue is the wrong flavor, we could have make wonderful music together {well maybe a little difference of 50 or 60 years}).
Sorry for any I have overlooked, a little dementia now and then, and a bit long winded also.

Mr. Shark kudos but please help me get this as my Avatar.

Dear Ole Dog,
I welcome you personally to the Lagoon and thank you for your kind words. Though age has never been a problem for me (btw the difference is only 34 years) there is something dangling that's in the way. But nevertheless you're always welcome to drink a cup o'tea on my porch (I've got two rockin chairs) hehehe Image Image

Hi there and welcome ole dog. I like your intro.

Let's do a deal - you don't chase cats and I don't scratch your nose. I've used up too many of my lives already, oldtimer, and I quite like dogs when they're not being ornery.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You really warm an Ole Dog's heart.
Sexychild 68, my fleas would love to get into that bathtub

Greebo A cat by any other name is still a pussy and this ole dog's been chasing cats all his life but couldn't be ornery in the lagoon.

Dito, would love to enjoy a cup o'tea on your porch any time but I'm to young for a rocking chair, how about a swinging hammock to share. Image

And shark what can I say, such a great place Image

Later all, time for a game or two then swing in the hammock,

Just wondering, hope you're not the dog that chases little cars, when it eventually catches one, would he know what to do with it? Image

Welcome;
I hope when I reach your years I will be as focused as you seem to be. Enjoy your swims here; may they continue for many many years.

Hey Squeeky - you don't get to be "ole dog" if you misspend much of your youth chasing cars.

I'm put in mind of a little tale an Irish workmate told me a couple of decades ago. It seems that in his youth, back in the auld country he had a job driving a lorry and in a particular road he came across one of these vehicle chasing mutts.

He decided that he had better report the incident to the local Guarda and in the police station he was asked to supply the details. He told the officer where it had happened and the Guarda seemed to perk up and asked for a descrïption of the dog.

"Well, it was black and white and about so high." my friend said, holding thumb and forefinger about an inch apart. The Guarda shook him warmly by the hand.

"Praise be, it's about time someone got the bugger!"

Hmm. Maybe there is snow atop a volcano hopeful to erupt but the ladies don't care for a lava flow!

Hey! Though we've had fun, maybe there is need for a thread at the Beach for such joviality. While we could move some of this we would lose identities which might not be fair. That said, what should such a Beach thread be called? "Honouring Senior Fish"? Then if we want to rejoice with someone like ole dog we welcome the person as usual but further comments are referred to the Beach thread?

Hmm, I'm not entirely convinced. From my point of view it's usually an earlier comment that triggers a particular thought or an amusing memory, so my response belongs in the same thread as the original comment

But also a comment can trigger a thread ;)

My thought was to take the pressure off this thread and consolidate further linked posts within a volume of similar interest.

Tales of the senior sharkies ?
Nice initial thought, how does our ole dog view that?
I was thinking of something like that, but more general. I'm sorry, I can't clarify that thought.
