Hi, Dyonisis, if you want to install an avatar, you should have first an image, the file thereof should not be too big (about 200-300 KB). You should load the picture on a suitable webspace and first test it by opening the link with your browser. If it is OK and you can see your image, you'll copy and paste the link of your picture from the top-line of your browser into the respective field of your profile. Before you close your profile again, you must save your changes by clicking on the "Update" button on the bottom of the profile page.

Good luck!

Hi all. I'm 43, self-employed, and live in the upper-midwest United States. I found out about Shark's Lagoon from some other flash-game sites that had some of the 'afternoon' series games posted. I tinker with 3d graphics, game design and coding as a hobby and am working on a few websites to help promote the adult gaming industry.

Great games and site - thank you for sharing your works!

Hello LRM, I tried your suggestion from 15/05/2009 and loaded a pic on Photobucket. But when I try the links under the Photo, I allways get the message: "file not found, is URL correct?" Can you help or do you know, what's going wrong?

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x22/ ... ancer.Giff - or similar
I pasted the Giff I wanted for my avatar to my Photobucket.com account. I copied & pasted the direct link from there into the avatar block on my profile. It worked.
If the item uses to much memory it won't work (Giff and Jpegs are smaller than most other formats) and the physical size is limited to about 175 pixels.

I have a female soccer player that isn't wearing anything but paint, when I tried to shrink her for my avatar she became distorted. I posted her to the motivational thread but there was an area that displayed a little pink and Photobucket blocked her.

FastStone Image Viewer is a freeware program that will allow you to reformat and resize the image you want to use.
Mine is 248493 Bytes & 137 x 150 pixels. I may animate Frank and Nanny and use that as my avatar.

You can also use Paint to resize pictures only. It is free and should already be on your pc (Start-->Programs-->Accessories).

Thanks to LRM! With FastStone Image Viewer I brought the pic down to 150x100pixels and now it worked. Beneton Movie GIF could I not download, because I got a warning from the antivirus program and so had to stop the download.
