Hi to all, I've got some bad news...(yes, at least for me...). Some unfriendly people have robbed my house a couple of weeks ago, and they take, together with two TV, a blue ray, a surround system, my beloved computer and his backup external HD....What can I say now...well....I think that to re-put together all my wonderful database of more than 150 Gigs of characters, clothes, poses and props will take a lot...
well....shit happens....

Ouch! That is downright nasty, Joker - you have my deepest sympathy.

Your plight provides food for thought though. Most people have poor backups in place, but even where they take reasonable precautions, private individuals don't usually think in terms of off site backups, even though data storage is dirt cheap nowadays.

Loss of equipment can be insured against, but hundreds or thousands of hours of personal time, energy and creativity is not easy to replace.

At times like this it is hard to smile, but remember, many of us will be thinking of you, friend.

I hope that any appropriate security keys you had for software (hopefully also readily replaced by download) were written down and not on the HDD's.

That is really one of the worst ways to loose valuable data. When I lost some work due to hd crash I tried to get back working as soon as possible before the frustration is overwhelming.
