hungirlypro, It is fact, that I tested all the updates before uploading. And I never had any message from others, that the game would not work sufficiently. Therefore i believe, that your problem could be caused by the base-file (the 5.0 version may be corrupt? Have you tried to test, if your 5.0 version works?). What system do you use and what browser? You should use Firefox. It works on Windows XP and Vista. And how did you proceed exactly to install the updates?

Arnulf, yes the original 5.0 download works just fine. I have windows xp and us IE. I followed the readme files by coying the new images and system files and pasted them into their corresponding folder. And when asked if I wanted to replace/exchange the files becauase they alread exist i said yes. After that I go to open it and I click begin game and it gives a message in the bottom left hand corner of the IE window that says error on page. Ill try to download and use firefox and see if that works today.

hungirlypro, I'm sorry, but there is a miracle, I cannot understand. At the time as I published UP 11, I tested the updating: I took a new datinggame, version 5.0 and updated it with the all-in-one update 11.1. The game worked as wanted OK. Today I tried to play this test-version again and it worked also OK. Then I did the same, I updated a new 5.0 version with the same update (11.1) and it didn't work with IE, as you told. I cannot understand it! But the good message is: I tried it with Firefox and: BINGO! It works. But this is not so bad, because UP 13, which is now the newest, needs also to be played with Firefox. Try UP 13 and you will be satisfied!

I haven't looked at this one for a while, just been using the basic version 5.0.



For the update, can I just use the #13 file or will I have to use the previous files as well?

David, you can use directly the UP 13 file. Play the game then with Firefox.

Staying overnight in Ari's bedroom is nice, but its always ending the game. With UP 14 you now can continue with Ari the next following evening!

Alvarado, this little literaric piece is a joke, which can be taken from the wording ( like you made in the beach with your sayings). the point is the phonetic wording construction, which you can take from the text ( also, if you not being able to understand the meaning).

The meaning is not very important, but I'll translate for your good sleeping:

"During he talks about kissing

I have just come across this site & registered today.

Had downloaded Ariane some months back but did not know there were so many add-ons.

Many thanks to Arnulf...for the amazing work he has done and his patience in helping others.

Just a request - the online version (5.10) has a different pics on "Photo session by the park". Can these be incorporated in the offline update ?

Hi, kchat, first welcome to the lagoon! As to your question for the other pics of the online version (5.10), I think you mean the long sequence of photos leading to sex in the car: There is just one picture new, the picture of Ari sitting naked in the car waiting for driving home. The story has changed a little bit, but there are no new pictures. Therefore I think, it would bring not much improvement to change the sequence according to the 5.10 version. I prefer to bring new scenes in the game and to change dead ends into passing scenes after which the date can be continued. My last update is UP 14, I hope, you've found it already. (Since you called the online version "5.10" I assume, you found the Ariane updates at Felix' blog).
