A post can be deleted by its author as long as a new post has not been added to the thread.
Only moderators can delete any post.
I tested with a user test account, it's indeed the truth.

I'm a bit surprised that you did'nt know about not being able to delete a previous post, a few years ago I wanted to delete an old post but could not only option was to edit and remove a part or all of the post written image and or text but the post stays blank. ''When Pink Vendetta left in a huff she had edited but could not delete her post there still up there
The website does'nt offer strangely that option the old one did so I dont know if there's a setting that only an Admin can modify

It's beyond my limited Windows knowledge.
I do find it interesting that the red text symbols appear but none of the black text symbols do (I have 3 black text symbols (Delete post, Warn user, and Information).
I'm soliciting input folks; any ideas?

Its nothing to do with windows, it is solely down to forum settings in the Admin control panel.
