If you leave your mouse alone, the symbols keep flashing. You can't miss it.
Just make sure the cursor is absolutely still.

You can atleast isolate the problem:
If it works on Chrome, then its a problem with FF 3.6. Case closed!
If it doesn't, its a problem with your computer. Needs further investigation.

Don't blame FF. I use it and I never have a problem with getting the response when I play on net (just to make sure, I tested Jungle just now at Shark's site and had no problem with help word). But downloading is infinitely easier for me, so...
