Hi medo,
With XP you have a possibility to execute program with a previous compatibility : right click, properties, compatibility tab and choose your compatibility.
Does it exist in Vista ? If yes, choose Win 98 and retry.
But, please, tell us if it works or if it doesn't work.

Yes, Luke, this also was my thinking. But I have my doubts, if Vista has such an adjustment function. (I must confess, XP is the one! With Vista i've got only problems. Actually, I got an update for Vista (home premium) some days ago and since this update some of the *.swf files didn't work any more with Internet Explorer. Now I have to execute such games with Firefox. Its a mess and has to do with the flash player control)

 Luke  , you are the best! With your comments you gave me an impulse to make an review on my swf-files problem and I could find out, that by opening the properties of the file you find a notice on the bottom of the window that this file is coming from another computer and is blocked therefore for safety reasons. I only had do "allow" the opening and now it works also with IE7. A little boring, that you must do these steps separately for all the blocked files. Above I said, Vista is making a lot of troubles!
