please help me how do I tame my own photo from my photo's and make a avatar?

i made my foto smaller with "fast stone image viewer" , 90x120, (you can download it free, look by google) and went to "photobucket" (you can log in there free too, look again by google). there you have an URL for your uploaded own fotos, which you copy and paste into your profile here.
