Technical support with PM's

Question about the way Private Messages are handled in the new boards? When you send a PM to someone, does it stay in your "Outbox" until the recipient signs on and reads it? I have 4 PMs in my "Outbox" and not in my "Sent Items." If this were Email, that would mean they weren't sent yet. But if there's a button to click to send them that I'm not pressing, I'm totally blind to it. I'm wondering if this just means they haven't been read yet. Three are to phreaky, and I haven't seen him on the board in a while.

Can anyone with a better understanding of this than me explain it?

Thanks,
Tlaero

My dear, it means that the recipient didn't open the message yet... Some people don't like pop-ups and don't look frequently at the top of the page... What I usually do in these cases is to put an alert in the concerned topic, asking the addressee to check his/her PM box.

Cheers!

indeed, PMs stay in the outbox as long as they were not read by the recipient.

Thanks for asking this question, tlaero. I noticed the same thing a while ago with a PM that I sent, and was very confused for a couple of days.
