Hi, for the past 3 days wen I open Shark forum's web page I cant see the main icons, never had this problem before, whats odd is just before this happened all was fine 30 minutes later opened the forum using same link as I always have and all icons had disappeared
I didnt change or modify anything , figured it was the Internet temp files 'cache' cleared it as well as the cookies but problem still persist, no problems with other forum's or websites !
As last resort used my other computer but same thing happens ?
When I right click/properties where an icon should appear I get 'Not available'
As there been any changes by Shark ..using XP Pro SP3 IExplr
Here's a few screen shots maybe this will explain better...Thanks

Check the time of this reply:
Using Firefox, which I believe is just after Rikwar, I see all icons. That however can mean that Rikwar's problem could have its roots in a small range of causes.

I see that I posted 16 mins after Rikwar, and I see that I misread that his complaint was within a half hour window. I'm unsure whether I had visited the Lagoon during that period.

I've been suffering from similar issues. Ever since about Thursday I've not been able to see the forum icons and flags, only the alternative text. This tends to use much more space than the icons an flags normally do.

I also am unable to see the message editing tools for bold, italic, etc

Looking further afield, if I look at the 'properties' of the 'Edit this message' icon I find the image should be at http://www.aceboard.net/forum/images/edit.gif but Firefox gives me an error message if I try to follow that link saying:

I've just had a look on support.aceboard.com and found that people are asking about aceboard.net being down and messing up their forums - this is a wide-ranging problem it seems!

NB "if you change your pic code from .net to .com they work again for how long i don't know" (from Admin1, whoever that is)

Got the exact same issues 'Greebo' plus the more smileys dont show ether, thanks for the heads up about aceboard 'Greebo'
so that would explain why some smileys still appear seeing some are h ttp://sharks-lagoon.aceboard.fr/images/icones/icon9.gif and those missing are from
h ttp://www.aceboard.net/forum/images/bold.gif

Also as I mentioned Im getting the same issues on my other pc, so if aceboard is screwed up how come others here dont seem too have a problem as well 'mind you glad that there not' ?!

As long as you want it to be ... wonder myself whats an Admin1 maybe Admin0 or 2 as an answer to that one

Well , dear that depends where you start, but when it has two ends you can be sure it is.

I successfully navigated the Lagoon about 3 hours ago without any icon issues.

Now I am seeing those things which members above are describing, like seeing "Off" in what is normally a blank first column for Groupings within the Forum Index.

I wonder if this is related to Chakattaur's issue at:
http://sharks-lagoon.aceboard.fr/215394 ... m#id104530
seems like he had selected an icon which could not be found.

Um? In that post Chakattaur mentioned the domain "imagevenue.com" where it would appear that he has selected something on the Lagoon which pointed to an image which would appear no longer to exist.

Could that site be the our bane, image folder at that location somehow been sabotaged such that links are temporarily broken? Does aceboard in fact use imagevenue.com? Could that be an explanation?
