Yes... but the reduction would come from reducing the amount of pilot fish altogether... You can't have one without the other imo.

Am I the only one that haven't been able to access the forums the past 1½ days or so? (august 3-4).
Looked like a DNS problem, and I didnt investigate it thoroughly so could just be me.

If not I think it's time to get serious about moving.

the forum was down during 2 day… The migration is under consideration.

I hope a new forum is being more than just considered.

I don't know how much it costs you to run the lagoon, shark, but I believe the more control you have over all aspects of it, the better.

The problem here is, no one seems to know what's going on with Aceboard, not even the moderators at their own forums.

I may have stumbled upon some contact info for Aceboard, if someone wants to try and contact them. A company in France seems to own it, called AceCorp SARL.

And given the information there, the forums could be up anywhere from 2012 to 2015 or possibly even longer, that's not to say they couldn't also be shut down again tomorrow... That said, I still maintain that the more control shark has over his community the better, and I still think migration to a server he controls is the best course of action.

I was starting to worry but now not so much! Because gandi is the provider of Shark's main site. But if you check http://www.gandi.net/whois/details?search=aceboard.fr where this forum is, you can see that the host provider is another one!
