Collected some of Prachett's quotes from the Discworld series with pictures of the man himself.
Mostly I suspect to Greebo and my own glee and amusement, unless anyone else here has been
reading Discworld behind our backs :roi:

Greebo! You seen Good Omens yet? If not, highly recommended. Stays true to the book which
was better though. This is the nature of books in general.

A fine collection of quotes I must say, and with an excellent selection of pictures of the Man himself. I've not seen Good Omens yet, but I've heard Good Things about it! (...and been mildly amused by some of the 'Righteous" spleen being vented by some of the weirdly religious members of our society. I would lay claim to be a God touched (born again?) Christian, but some of these people!!! Well really!)

This particular lot of "righteous" thinks Harry Potter, Pokemon, Yoga (where your legs and arms are where they
have no business being) and Yoda from Star Wars are satanic. That is just naming a few.

The world in general are done a favor by ignoring them.

I know. I hate and despise Trump beyond words. I mean it. I don't have them to express what
I feel about this weapons grade plum. This does not assist matters.

Thank you for the Pratchett quotes. I've read many of Terry's Discworld books. After reading them I usually take them to a used books store so others can enjoy them.

I have a collection of all his publications. Even Carpet People which was the first book he published back in 1971.
Then an older and wiser Pratchett rewrote it and it became widespread and well-known.

Lspace.org (if I remember the URL correctly and it is still 'alive') is a good place to go.

It's still there and, as you say, is a good place to go -- as long as you don't call the Librarian a monkey! Did anyone get the number of that donkey cart?

mmm, that's strange!

Using just lspace.org results in a "This site can’t be reached" message, while using www.lspace.org leads to the correct site.

(I'm guessing whomever setup the DNS entries for the site only did so for a 'www` based domain name.)

lspace.org finds it just fine for me no error message and without the need to preface with www. -- maybe it's the DNS server I'm using (Google)

The Librarian of the unseen university was once a human, but got magically transformed into a orang-utan
by accident. He has since refused to be changed back. His new form allow him easy access to tall book shelves,
and he is the only one who knows where all the books are.

The other wizards have gradually become used to the situation, to the extent that if someone ever reported
that there was an orang-utan in the Library, the wizards would probably go and ask the Librarian if he'd seen it.

He is currently working on a human/orang-utan translation dictionary. He has gotten as far as "OOK"
