Was qbv8 referring to the fact that som eof the most influential members do not have 'peckers'?

Ranking systems are a feature of many forums - in a lot of cases they are turned off as some believe they encourage spamming for post count.
However as was mentioned earlier they can be useful to restrict 'pilot fish' activities and mean that members have to be around for a while to earn normal or better privilges.

Ah!! So that's what "pecking order" is! Those without peckers get to choose which pecker they want to be pecked with!

i kind of see this place as both...it is definetly a forum with some chatting that goes one....i am not trying to flood things...i just found that there was a lot to post in the different areas...i don't mean to offend with all of my posts...i am a big fan of the Lagoon....i really like to swim here with some really cool folks... since ranking is here it is nice to be able to get to the next rank even tho you do not get anything from it...i don't think it is important to be the first or the biggest...it is mostly about giving your opinion(s) to the subject matter at hand or to the reply...
