I want to point out that this is my personal opinion before I start. I understand and support the freedom of speach consept, and the same that nobody is actually hurt in a computer game. But still...Rapelay is a fucking discusting game about breaking the will and raping a mother and her 2 daughters the youngest one clearly only just a little child. That's just sick. I am pretty twisted myself but Jesus christ that game makes my stomac turn.

There are some lines that you just don't cross. They want the game gone ? Good for them they got two thumbs up from me.

I totally agree with your opinion Tjommi, incest of this nature as nothing to do with sex, but more of a sickness.

It is annoying to know that the sex game community will cater to these people. Sex and erotica has no relation what so ever with rape and incest. Sex and erotica does not advocate harmful behavior against minors and people in general.

From what I read on wiki about the game, there are options of murder in the end of the game as an addition to the rapes.

This has no place anywhere, and it offends me how they try to excuse this filth under the free speech concept.

Not my favorite spokes person but well stated non the less. The US of A has some of the most restrictive obscenity laws of the Christian world. The per capita violence percentage against women is one of the highest. Correlation? Perhaps. Rape is NOT a sexual act. It is a violent act perpetrated on a victim of either sex!

Careful this entire thread is inappropriate for this forum IMO.

I'm REALLY open-minded about sex, but rape makes me feel ill.

I think that most people comment on Rapelay after reading about it or even seeing a little of it rather than playing it. I have played it. The particular part which is complained about, where a young girl is raped in a lavatory room is strong stuff blood and all. Not many people would enjoy that.

The rest of the game, though, is not actually about rape. At least, it is done against the context that the player is raping, but none of the females object at all, they happily go along with no complaints at all, only enjoyment. So if okaying groping women on trains is your thing you might want to try it.

However the actual comment which is relevant in this company is that it is not sexy, indeed the scene people talk about is a big turn off, there are very much better games on can get from Illusion (well Hongfire).

Whenever I hear about or see rape scenarios in erotica/porn, I get very introspective about where exactly that line is. I'm vehemently against all manner of rape (particularly statutory or rape of minors) and pedophillia, but chikan (the Japanese practice of public groping, which apparently is so prevalent that very strict laws had to be issued to address it) and reluctance turn me on greatly. I suppose it is because women in these scenarios eventually come to a point where they enjoy what is happening, thus creating an impression of consensual sec.

I think more to the point "I suppose it is because women in these scenarios eventually come to a point where they enjoy what is happening, thus creating an impression of consensual sec." their subconscious blocks reality of the event and their reason succumbs to preservation.

This is the first thread i've seen with such extreme views !
I haven't played this game but it seems really sick and disgusting.
I hate the ideas of rape and incest, too. But, I support the freedom of speech concept very strongly.
There may be people who claim Shark's games are too sexually demeaning. But do we listen to them, or follow what we believe?
There may be people who enjoy RapeLay, so lets not discriminate against the game. Just say you don't like it. End of matter

Wow, that's deep stuff , Squeeky

I believe this thread has been allowed to drop out of sight a couple of times for good reason -- why resurrect it? If I was a Moderator I'd be tempted to lock it and be done!

That thought had crossed my mind prior to me making a comment regarding part of Petuchi13's contribution. It could not go unchecked.

A thread exists for discussion based around Adult behaviours and so I shall so lock this.
