Avatar stories - how I got mine

A quiet place at the lagoon side for speaking about all and nothing (the financial crisis, sex, your country, sex, hobbies, or...sex)

My avatar I found when searching for representations of Greebo. It is a fine example of the work of a talented artist by the name of Jessica Gädke http://jesskat83.deviantart.com/

I can't remember where I first saw it - I think it was associated with a Discworld site.

I notice in her gallery she's done a rather mean looking mermaid!Image

"Rather mean" is a drastic understatement!

Definitely not Polynesian! Be much softer! Cuddly!

Would I want to cuddle a fish? Top part of a mermaid, yes.

Now, now, don't be so fishist, Squeeky! Surely any mermaid worth her salt(water) would say "Love my maidenly body, love my fishy tail!" Image

First, there is one mermaid I would LOVE to cuddle... but Cloe lives way too far away.

Second.. my avatar... well... let's see... I am a lycanthrophile... I am also a... lupaphile? fascinated by wolves (Canus lupos). When I created my profile here, I did a little looking around for a good wolf picture.

I decided to make a change.

It comes as a hope to correct our darling DiTo's impression that all rats frequent garbage; the Australian water rat is a carnivore and enjoys a fish dinner (mermaids are therefore safe)!

I screwed up the change, I am confident that I know what has gone wrong (should be all pastel colours without fading), but I don't really mind it.

I like the darker greens. The lighter green reminds me of the water in the toilet. . . right before I flush. lol

Well seeing you asked Squeeky it does have some attraction, but a little to much between the fading and writing IMO, your original one add a cleaner look..
But the main thing is which one YOU really prefer and not what impression some others may have of the type of rat it is

A rat is a rat! It is the same as with the spinach: Some like it ans some don't.

A rat by any other name would be as squeaky.
