(This is about stories, not games, but they're stories about my games. So I'm not sure whether or not it's appropriate for this board. Mods, if it's not, I'll remove the thread.)

I've started writing a series of short stories that take place in the "Elsa-verse." They're text-only, so they shouldn't slow down development of our games. They give backstory on old and new characters and events that have happened (or will happen...) in those games. My intent is to release a story to patrons ($1 and up) in the middle of the month and then to the public at the end of the month. It's fun to go back to my roots of writing straight prose without needing to work out dialog choices and alternate paths. And it's nice to be able to write in past tense again, the way god intended...

These stories assume you've played the Elsa-verse games.

AAA1: Inseparable released to the public.

This is the first of the "Tales from the Elsa-verse" stories. I have a cameo for a previously unknown character in an upcoming Darkness Falls episode, and Mortze asked me about her. So I wrote this story. (-: Then my mind immediately started swirling with the follow on to it. And, before I knew it, I was committing to doing yet more monthly writing...

Anyway, this story means a lot to me. I hope you like it.

Tlaero, Thank you, really awesome work as always
Beautiful story and beautiful written.

However I think you should highlight the Time-jumps more clearly. The stars didn't work clear enough for me especially in the first retrospective - But probably I'm just not observant enough.
Also I'm suprised, that you use this kind of minimalist display technology. I would assume, that PDF's or a more sophisticated web technology would be more easy on the eyes and therefore nicer for the reader.

This episodic content has been an experiment for us, and the reception has been ... lackluster. So I have decided to stop releasing Tales from the Elsa-Verse publicly. I'll continue to release these stories to our $1 patrons (one per month). I haven't decided whether or not I'll eventually bundle them into a full story and release it publicly or keep this as a patron perk.

If you'd like to keep up to date on our games, please consider becoming a patron.
$1/month patrons get weekly progress reports on what we're working on and a monthly "Tales from the Elsa-Verse (AAA)" text-only short story.
