This works for Windows.
If you know the directory path to the save files, you can run Windows command prompt to delete them. Here's a link with step by step directions.

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Last_man
the appdata folder is hidden by windows at default settings, the easy way to get to it is by typing %appdata% into the start button search on windows 7 and pressing enter, then navigate to local, and then last_man, highlight all the files and hit Shift + DEL

The best way to see if you have still crashes is to TEST it...

I have a quick question about this game. Is the game supposed to be finished when it reaches version 1.0?
Because the impression I get is that it is not particularly heading towards resolution even though it is already in version 0.8.

Maybe. But i doubt that. Could try and explain it out of the top of my head. But i jsut give you a

It looks like I have to register at a russian language site to download the .torrent file. I didn't have much luck trying that. Would it be possible to have the torrent file put up somewhere else as well?
