If you go to http://www.daz3d.com/shop/ and order by Price Low-High, there are several free itens for Poser and a few for Daz Studio.

Those itens are not appearing in Daz 3D Freebies section, I don't know why.

I've bought some Vic 4 characters which come with poser 8 mats and that seems to work fine for me.
I don't even have the Victoria 4 model or morphs++ at the moment, just daz 4.9 with G1F.
If you want to transfer morphs too, you need Vic 4 and morphs ++ and the genx tool + GF2 extension from daz.
There's some detailed information to find in the internet.
I load a G1F female, choose the Victoria 4 UV map, load whatever I want from the Vic 4 char.
Then I save it as a material preset, load a GF2 and merge the preset on her.
Sometimes the poser mats look a little odd, often depending on the lighting.
Bought me sickleyield's beautiful skin for G2F and iray and this works also good for me.

I've just started myself with daz3d some weeks ago, and have no deeper understanding in the shader technology, so please
don't blame me when you buy some stuff and it does not work for you....

GDS, I bought this tool on May 8, I have been working fine for all Daz Original clothes. For third part sellers, sometimes work, sometimes don't.

Today I took sometime to reviewing and testing the new itens.

This is V4's clothes on Genesis 3 and G3F's clothes on Genesis 2.

The HDRI background was free and also the lustrous hair texture, the rock floor from nature shaders, and the bar from metal and gems shaders.
