I had a short look on that game. It is very nice to play, but I'm short of time and had to make a break of my first approach in the fighting scene. I just need some testing, how to fight successfully, up to now I was beaten every time (I tried it about 10 times). Anyway, the game meets pusooy's excellent standard!

Hi steve, it makes no wonder, when you are fighting(?) like hell on deck of the burning ship. I just am about to find out, what the keys are doing exactly during the fight. If it is not absolutely clear, you must try out your experiments and when it takes too long, in every case you would be killed. I played some scenes, it is possible to push the contrafighter back to the barrier and hurt his shoulder. That has no real effect, except the sword becomes red from his blood. When you let him push you back to the end, you can beat his sword out of his hand, then it goes upstairs, and every time you try to get down again, you roll down the stairs. Once when he was on the upper deck and I was on the base deck, he threw down something like a cannonball , but he didn't hit me. Up to now I cannot overlook, what actions are bringing you forward and what actions does't. But I'm sure, we can go through, earlier or later, we dont have any pressure.

About the sword fighting session: it's much easier than you think, just keep your finger on the CTRL button and remember the good old Konamy Olympics!!
Then, just imagine those cloak and dagger movies where heroes and villains chase one another on ropes, ladders and stairs for all the time...

Hmmm... here some useful hints!

Years of videogames playing taught me:
1- the girl already has all the holes a man needs, so don't shoot her
2- if you look for a bird to shoot, please consider not to aim at the one in your trousers... could be so so sorry
3- look into the barrel is NOT the best way to check if the gun is armed and ready.

B.t.w., you have to consider that the Pirate hand is slower than a droid shooting a laser. You gotta shoot when the mouse is still 1 cm before the point you aim to.
Be careful! Those bas***d mice have fleas and many times they stop and scratch a 1/1000 sec after you shot, so... the girl comes down again

this game is outstanding, wish it had more levels/outcomes.

Shoot just before the rat enters the target area of your sights... seems to work ok for me.
