Was wondering about this. Tried to use the "Warn moderators" link but all I got was a "Submit" button. Is there something here which "AdBlock Plus" [an add-on with Firefox] is blocking?

Keep cool, Squeeky, in this section each sharkie can tell us about games, which he (she) wants to recommend. It's OK, as long as there are no direct links referred. For the trime being, some newbies, who obviously cannot read or understand our rules are trying to overwhelm us with their goodwill. But we are taking care of our lagoon and this "wave" also will calm down..............

I think the bigger problem is that tons of those games are linked by people with only a single post. which feels like an invitation for a virus/trojan/spyware...

why don't ppl read the rules? isn't that the first thing one should do after joining the forums, just because one is a newbie don't mean one has to show off.

I don't know what the direct link deleted from this thread was, but the "direct link" rule states:

"- no direct links towards files hosted by other sites (.exe, .swf...), the links must point towards a Web page (HTML, php...)"

So, according to that rule, a link to a Web page that has a download link to a game is legal and should not be deleted.

An example of a legal link to a familiar game is:

http://www.hornygamer.com/adult-games/s ... ams-2.html

An (edited) example of an illegal link to that game would be:

http://(host)/games/secret-fantasy-dreams-2.swf

A game at a download site, paid or otherwise, is not specifically addressed by the existing rules.

As an example: Shark uses Rapidshare to provide downloads for his games. Would a link to the Rapidshare page be legal or not? I say legal. You might say not. The rule needs clarification.

That's the way the rules read, anyway, and I've stated this case before.

when a link is created towards a host like rapidshare or hotfile, it is difficult to know if the file is a copy of a cracked game or a legal game.
personally, I use rapidshare for files of which I have the copyrights (or RKShooter for " Milly")

I think one can and should provide direct links for redistributable commodity only, or if the commodity is exclusively owned by the link provider.
Posting anything that directs to something hacked should not be allowed, this will close the loophole for good.
Alternatively those who does want these sort of links should deal with them via PM.

On the subject of the game, it's not very good in my opinion. It's based on a VERY old 3D engine and the models barely look human, let alone hot.

bbvx, not necesarily - IMHO, conversation about the game itself should be kosher. Just like, say, the thread about "erotical night" (to mention one).

Because this forum is not "just a download board"
