Have you ever thought about the fact that your whole life can be predetermined? What if there are no coincidences and the fate – this is not a fiction? And what would you do if you could control the lives of other people?

The protagonist of the game is an ordinary office employee who likes to spend time with girls, in a strip bar or a movie. But his life is changing dramatically when a mysterious organization comes in contact with him. You will get great opportunities and will be able to decide how to apply them. But ahead of you are waiting for secrets, conspiracies and betrayals. And by performing missions in different ways, you can influence the development of the storyline and the lives of other game characters.

Red Pill / 0.09 pre-alpha and Public Release

Today we have a big update to my new game Red Pill, and this is the first release of the public version. Let me remind you that this is only a preview, a game at an early stage of development. In the public version you can go through the whole prologue. Players with early access will see a little more – the beginning of the first mission.

The game will have a deep sci-fi story, with regular updates. Different events and actions of other characters will depend on the parameters of the hero, which you will set at the beginning of the game. For example, you can make a brawny handsome or sickly intellectual, it will affect the attitude of other characters to you, to dialogs and even quests – you will have to solve them differently.

There will be different answers in the dialogues, and the NPC will remember it, which can change their attitude to you. Someone can remember that you helped them earlier, and someone take offence and will revenge you later in the game.

You need an account for the game. If you already played Last Man or any of my other games, you can use your account from these games, if not, you can create it for free. As in other games, Red Pill supports cloud-based saves and cross-platform games. The actions of Last Man and Red Pill occur in one game universe, so I planned the events which will affect both games, and by completing the quest in one of them, you will see the results in the second.

In this update we have several new locations, and updated graphics in some old ones. Added more animation and sounds. Improved fonts and updated mechanism for unloading unused textures. Fixed bugs of the map of the city, bugs with the loading of locations and saves. The server part of the game has received a lot of updates.

Red Pill / 0.12 pre-alpha

In this build, a new scene with Jessie on a picnic was added. This is a continuing of the main storyline. Updated the last scene at the home of the hero and added a preview of the Laboratory.

The game engine was seriously improved and the server part got a big update. Due to this, loading of locations have become almost instantaneous, and the stability of the game with a large online increased.

The recently launched Android version also received some love, and now it should work on any devices.

Fixed minor bugs.

Red Pill / 0.13 alpha

In the new version of the game, the mechanism for moving around locations and interacting with objects was redesigned. A new, more detailed, city map has been added. Locations on it will be activated as you progress through the storyline. Added marks indicating the story quests in the locations.

It will also be possible to move freely within each location. This will be used if at the moment there are no story quests. Now it is implemented in the Bar.

Shaders have been added to highlight active objects on the screen. Important objects that move you along the plot or give a choice where to go next will be always highlighted. Additional hidden objects that give bonuses or reveal the details of the scene are highlighted, if you hover the mouse on them.

Some locations received new events, and were supplemented with details. Updated graphics. Added more animation and sounds to the events.

Red Pill / 0.14 alpha

In the new build you will find the new location – Car Showroom. There our hero will be able to spend, earned money (when he earn them ), and participate in interesting events.

Also, the order of unlocking locations during the game was slightly changed. And added an alert that a certain location is now available for visiting.

In some locations, new hidden events have been added. Updated graphics for some scenes.

Added support for shared achievements with other games, as well as bonuses that you could get for Club access in December. You will find one of them in the last event at home of our hero.

Minor bugs fixed.

I had a brief look at this game once while playing Last Man a while back but I didn't really "get it". I've been waiting patiently for you guys to set about it, maybe I'm not the only one waiting for some kind of revelation before taking a second look then?

In this version we will be able to continue the main quest. Our hero, along with beauty Jessie will go to the laboratory where she works, and will try to complete his first mission.

Red Pill / 0.16 alpha

In this build, a large location has been added – now you can visit Bank. There you will find many hidden events and pretty girls. Those who received a May subscription bonus will be able to use it at the ATM.

The Bank activates after visiting the Cafe, where our hero have some problems with a credit card. Please note that this event does not work on the very first visit to the cafe. You better come back there the next gaming day.

The save system has been updated. Now it will allow to store in more detail your actions in certain locations, girls will remember which options in the dialogue responses you previously selected. It will also allow you to return to the location and finish what you previously missed, of course, until the plot moves on. But so far, no new savepoints have been added.

Also, the graphics of some locations were updated, and more animation was added.

Game is autosaving in checkpoints

Red Pill / 0.18 alpha

In the last build, the system for saving data in locations was changed, and with this update all locations received support for this system. So now, locations can have dozens of events that are not related to each other, and if you missed any of them, you did not have enough game money or hero parameters, you can return there later. Moreover, the hero will also have the opportunity to replay key storyline quests to find out how events could go differently.

The save system has been changed. The game will be automatically saved between events when you exit to the city map.

Locations Bar, Car showroom and Bank received new events, some dialogs were updated. Some bugs were fixed.

Red Pill 0.24 Alpha

With this build we are restarting Red Pill. The game received new graphics, animation, an updated plot and much more. Club players could already try some new locations, and now they have become available to everyone.

This game tells the story of a guy who was unexpectedly invited to a secret organization, and their goals and capabilities exceed anything he could imagine.

You have to… oh, of course I will not spoil your adventures I will just say that you will find many quests in various locations, interesting enemies and charming girls.

In this build you will find the introduction and part of the first mission of our hero. Compared to the previous build, the updated storyline is now more compact and storyline events start much faster. I can’t wait to tell you what’s next.

Of the secondary locations in this build, the Bar and the Cafe are active.

Today we have a new build of the Red Pill. In it you will find an updated location and an event with cute Jessi, who agreed for another meeting with our hero.

We remind you that the events of the game unfold in our usual world, but one day the life of our hero changes dramatically. He enters a secret organization and right now he is in the process of completing a new mission.
