I suspect it's not a continuity error. It either refers to Troi himself, one of his ancestors, or a descandant born as a result of the story. I don't know how many generations ago the story is set.

Of the publicly released short stories, (as of the time of this posting, at least) I think this is my favorite short story. Your DwE stories are nice, but this one was special.

The only one I've liked more than this is Beginnings. Getting that origin story was totally worth being a patron, and that wasn't even why I did it.

I don't see how Elsa could even know about that, so Xara would have to tell her first, and Xara wouldn't see any reason to do so.

well that's quit simple

Xara angels know that Xara is not telling everythin to them, Mortland just have to whisper in Elsa ear that Xara kill her grandfather. Elsa confront Xara with it when Theresa is with her and she will know the truth.

I doubt a feud between Elsa and Xara would be realistic or even logical.

Elsa has no emotional connection to her great-great-great-great-grandfather and, with the other Angel's help, she'll quickly realize that Xara has her hearth in the right place.
If Xara says that Elsa's ancestor was a criminal in her society's laws and her job was to track him and bring him to justice, Theresa will see that Xara believes in that, and no one will condone her.

The story may be finished for now yet there are still a lot of plot holes. Where the story can continue at a future date.

Xara gave strong hints of a possible return.

What happened to Morland's extensive organization. An how did Chloe end up with the Casino and Estate. As seen in the credits. I don't think Morland left it to her in his will? Why is Jan Chloe's new body guard also seen in the credits if you look closely.

What happened to the potential Mayoral Candidate that Morland and Crow has just poisoned and attempted to turn into a puppet candidate.

Morland and Crow were in our realm apparently twenty five plus years. Long enough to marry, have Charles and Chloe and establish a underworld empire. What was he doing all that time? With advanced alien technology and knowledge in a whole new world to conquer. Twiddling his thumbs waiting for Xara at his desk? Btw Xara appears only to have been in our realm one year. So where was she in the between years?

The Portal had been operating over twenty five years and in that time was giving humans Powers on this side. Jessica, Theresa, Miranda, Paul. So there are more out there and not all of them will be using it for good purposes.

Yes there are a lot of unanswered questions and plot holes to continue the story. Hopefully some day M & T will.

I suspect though the Darkness Falls story CSI meets the X-Files. Might touch upon them indirectly.

Why don't you guys, at least some of whom apparently don't pledge a dime, just leave Tlaero (and Mortze, can't forget him) to write the stories she wants and stop trying to "improve" things for her? The vast majority of her fans are extremely happy with her work and eagerly await the next installment. She has not disappointed us yet. Do you even have a clue how disheartening some of this BS can be?

All this nit-picking and nattering has become very tiresome indeed.

Well, this point was already discussed on the SC thread. Shady is right, Xara uses Morland's alies' portal, but according to Tlaero's word we can trust her to deal with any potential enemies he may find when arriving at her realm (which is not entirely under her enemies control yet, so she'll bring Morland and Crow to justice).

I recall Tlaero explaining this too. You shouldn't forget that time moves slower in Morland and Xara's realm. Xara has been in our world for one year but came here just about a month later than Morland according to their worldtime. There are not 'between years', at least not for her. And Morland came here with absolutely nothing in his hands but his power. He enjoys the journey and he's aging soooo slowly here that he can take his time to become Emperor of Earth. In 30 years time he's gone from zero to local tycoon, he's already rigging local elections and no doubt he has higher expectations... but ultimately he couldn't achieve his goals because of Chloe (mainly), Xara et al.

I guess the rest of your questions will be answered (partially, at least) in Darkness Falls. That's actually the point of that game, if I'm not wrong

I agree, Tlaero story's hasn't disappointed it since GtkC and I'm glad they do a new game around Christine. but I think we just discuss what can happen. And Mortze is right to tell me that Elsa can see the good nature of Xara and that's it. not to control of ask for things from them

but Tlaero write herself that sometimes some of the partons/fans put an idea she like and use it in her games. or the feedback of a game give her an idea to do the next game different.

and I say it in other posts. I play Tora games because of the great story Tlaero write all the time. with the renders of Mortze they make the greatest games there are

Xara just walked into the heart of Morland's allies camp carrying Morland and Crow which were keeping the Portal Open on his behest. As an escape if needed from our realm.
Xara delivered Morland and Crow to freedom.
