Hi folks. I just uploaded a new version of Amy Redux. http://rapidshare.com/files/385213705/AmyReduxV1.1.zip

This fixes the issues people here reported and adds the beach scene.

Phreaky, one thing to notice is that _begin.html now just sets the initial values of the variables and then jumps to poolstart.html. I changed this because my AdventureCreator program doesn't handle pages with javascrïpt in them. I didn't want you to open the first page in the program and lose the variables.

I've basically got my program finished. I think I'm going to do a few more finishing touches and then upload it.

I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with Amy Redux. The main point was showing you folks how to do these games, and what's there should be a good example. You're welcome to build upon it and put the Jen paths back in if you'd like.

As before, if anyone finds any issues, please let me know. While I may not do any major new additions to the game, I'll definitely fix bugs.

Phreaky, I just uploaded a new version of AdventureCreator. This one changes the format a bit from what I did with Amy Redux. When you get a little less busy and start playing with this stuff again, you'll want to chat with me if you try to use AdventureCreator on the current AmyRedux. If I get a chance, I'll convert Amy to the new version.

Maybe I'll add another path too. I'm not sure if anyone saw the beach scene I added in V1.1 though. Show of hands, lagooners, if I were to add another ending to Amy Redux, would you rather the threesome in the bedroom or the private pool?

Habits. Many places on the internet aren't very friendly to females. I play "Mike" or "Michael" in some of those places. When I finally started posting here (I had lurked for a while) I didn't pretend to be "Mike" because I had happily watched you folks treat Erana with respect. You've been nice to me as well, so I made the right choice. (-:

Tlaero, you know only too well that it's not just the internet where females are not treated well (and waterrats, back off D!) I really can't recall why I originally checked in on your profile, there had to be some element of curiosity of course. I am in the greatest respect of any talent whether I can learn something or just admire.

However there's a problem with Virtual Date Amy.

Compare these two fragments from Start.html and beach1.html respectively:
Notice the difference. The first fragment uses the HTML standard forward slash, but the second fragment uses the UNIX/Windows standard back slash.

Mac Firefox chokes on this. Safari handles it with aplomb. I guess Safari is revealing it's UNIX foundation while Firefox is enforcing standards.

Altogether there are 88 instances of the back slash in this game.
