1. The game has NEVER been finshed. It has actually restarted numerous times where updates haven't been compatible with saves (a tradition that I see continues in other games under your Vortexcannonm banner).

2. I have jusy tried V3.820 (latest) and encountered several locations that produce a message that they are not avaiable in the public version. So it cannot even be played to the end of the version for free.

I have no problem other than the fact that this "Free" game is always posted in this category and is always at the top of the list - Mostly due to your announcing updates to this "finished" game.

LAST MAN 3.83

This build includes some important gameplay changes.

Our hero’s house cleaning event is no longer a random event. It can be activated in the store of the first city, in the new department. And we can improve the store itself so that it gets more features. Also, now if you failed to complete all the tasks of the event with the girl, we can return to the store and try again.

Another change concerns the playmate of the month at the casino. Such events will become more frequent, get new stories and work mechanics. For those who missed the last event, we launched it out of turn again. A new batch of gameplay changes. Some of them are aimed at increasing the amount of energy available to you:

In fact there are now even more places in that "free" version that are locked (I tried 2 weeks ago), making it even less possible to finish the game; yet it still it remains at the very top of a board that is meant to be for games that are "complete and totally free to play".

It is a pity that you continue to meddle about, fix and refix what would be a very good game and a story that you could have released in separate volumes to allow you to pursue new ideas, etc, without the constant disruption. Unfortunately, players are forced to restart time and time again because of changes to the game mechanics, new charaters being introduced to earlier stages of the story, and so on.

The game I played 2 weels ago didn't bear much similarity to the last time I played it. Certain element's seem either to have been removed or, more likely, become unreachable without a subscription, some events seem to happen in a different order, and so on.

One example of your constant tinkering with the game is the Casino which has changed almost totally. Why? It only seems to be relevant at one point in the game, which anyone who has played LM in the last X years would be long past. Instead of getting on with the story you go back and fiddle about with it, so everyone has to go back because 1) To see the changes (which, to be fair, are good) and 2) because we've no idea if skipping it will result in missing a variable that we will need later. If you really had to produce a new version of the Casino because just getting on with the story isn't enough for you, why not just introduce a place later in the game where the player needs to go and earn momey at the "new" casino? That way the player gets to enjoy both versions too.

The cost to anyone who stuck with subscribing to Last Man from the very beginig must now be getting close to the price of a luxury car - if not a small house! That's not my definition of "Free".

It's not as if Shark doesn't provide other boards more suitable for you to post on.

I come here looking for new free games, but all I see is never-ending updates to Last Man, many informing me what is available only to subscribers.
