I thinks, it's because IE 8/9 don't support Audio part of cherubim & medusa.
I found a workaround using dvelopper tools : When the script debugger show you an error (always the same points), just click on continue.

Hey thanks ttant by enabling 'internet properties' the script debugger then the game worked
also notice that it was the audio in the script that was the problem !
